    Notes: A survey of a small sample of children in a state comprehensiveschool indicates that most children have an inadequate breakfast beforestarting school. However, most children consume breakfast cereals atsome time of the day. Concludes that the fortified cereals play animportant role in the diet of many children, and at the same timehighlights the high sugar and sodium content of many.
