    Description / Table of Contents: Zusammenfassung Die vorliegende Untersuchung ist eine elektrophoretische Studie des X-Proteins, das durch Abtrennung von Blutserum durch Ultrazentrifugierung erhalten wurde. Sowohl das X-Protein von Pedersen wie auch die Komplexe des unverdünnten Serums werden beide dissoziiert durch Dialyse und Verdünnung. Es ist anzunehmen, daß diese letzteren Maßnahmen auf das bindende Material wirken, welches dafür verantwortlich ist, die Proteine in komplexer Assoziation zu halten.
    Notes: Abstract The present investigation is an electrophoretic study of X-protein obtained by separation from blood serum by ultracentrifugation. It has been found that the X-protein of Pedersen, as well as the complexes of undiluted serum are both dissociated by dialysis and dilution. It is suggested that these latter act on the binding material which is responsible for holding the proteins in complex association.
