Summary A description is given of a continuous applying device for the enrichment of dilute solutions on starting flecks 1–2 mm in diameter. The liquid is transferred from a calibrated triangular beaker to the Chromatograph paper via a capillary syphon. The spreading of the applied liquid is prevented by drying with air over the central opening of a heating block.
Abstract:
Résumé On décrit un dispositif d'arrivée continue pour l'enrichissement des solutions diluées sur les taches de départ de 1 à 2 mm de diamètre. On fait passer sur le papier chromatographique le liquide contenu dans un bécher à bec calibré, au moyen d'un siphon capillaire. On empêche la solution versée de s'étaler, par séchage à l'air sur un alésage central d'un bloc de chauffage.

Zusammenfassung Eine kontinuierliche Auftrageinrichtung zur Anreicherung verd. Lösungen auf Startflecken von 1 bis 2 mm Durchmesser wird beschrieben. Die Flüssigkeit wird aus einem kalibrierten Spitzbecher mittels eines kapillaren Hebers auf das Chromatographierpapier übertragen. Die Ausbreitung der aufgetragenen Lösung wird durch Antrocknen mit Luft über einer zentralen Bohrung eines Heizblockes verhindert.
