Abstract The random predator-prey type interactions of the population species in a random varying environment have been investigated. The Fokker-Planck equation for the transition probability, corresponding to the stochastic differential equations established from Lotka-Volterra equations by the introduction of randomness and variability, has been integrated in the form of a path integral. The transition probabilities for extinction or survival of one or several species have been approximately evaluated and investigated.
