    Notes: Summary 1. Copolymers of alkyl vinyl ethers with vinyl acetate were prepared. 2. Increase in the number of carbon atoms in the alkoxy group of a vinyl ether is favorable to copolymerization. 3. The complex radical formed with the participation of 2,2'-azobis [2-methylpropionitrile] considerably raises the reactivity of vinyl ethers in their copolymerization with vinyl acetate. 4. Phenyl vinyl ether does not copolymerize with vinyl acetate in presence of benzoyl peroxide.
