Conclusions 1. The reinforced-concrete panels of the new design covering the entire plane of the section joint with the grouting fittings and groutstops built into them were one of the main elements of the new tierwise technology of concreting, which made possible the use of this technology when constructing the arch dam, shortening of the cycle of operations on each block and tier of the dam, and achievement of a record rate of growth of the dam. 2. The combined solution of design and technological problems on the basis of a thorough study of available experience made it possible to create a design of panels technologically easy to manufacture and install, which provided the high quality of the work on constructing and sealing the dam.
