Notes: Zusammenfassung 1. Die Wirkung einiger Monoamino-oxybenzoesäuren, Monooxybenzoesäuren und Monoamino-monooxybenzoesäuren auf den tuberkulostatischen Effekt von Paraaminosalicylsäure (PAS) wurde untersucht. 2. Von den geprüften Substanzen übte nur Paraaminobenzoesäure (PABA) eine antagonistische Wirkung auf PAS aus. Diese deutet darauf hin, daß PABA für Tuberkelbazillen bedeutsam ist. 3. Es wird angenommen, daß PABA sich als Bestandteil eines komplexen Wuchsfaktors der Tuberkelbazillen geltend macht und daß PAS diesem Wuchsfaktor entgegenwirkt.
