An explicit “best approximation” off by even functions, constructed from characteristic functions of subsets {n; g.c.d.(n, r) =k} ⊂ $$\underset{\raise0.3em\hbox{$\smash{\scriptscriptstyle\cdot}$}}{\mathbb{N}} $$ is used.
