Notes:
Radiothermoluminescence has been used to show that the surface of latex globules in nonvulcanized latex films contain segments which become mobile at a temperature 20°K below that observed in bulk polymer. Vulcanization in latex films takes place mainly on the surfaces of the latex globules; vulcanized latex films are microheterogeneous systems.
