Notes:
The molecular weight, the size, and the second virial coefficient have been determined for a series of styrene polymers prepared under high pressure (0 to 4000 atmospheres) using light scattering techniques. The intrinsic viscosity-molecular weight relationship, the size-molecular weight relationship, and the magnitude of the second virial coefficient reveal no significant differences when compared to similar data of regular polystyrene. Structural differences due to the method of polymerization do not exist to the extent that they can be revealed by such measurements.
