Neue quaternäre Ammoniummonomere aus N-(Dimethylaminophenyl)maleinimiden wurden dargestellt und charakterisiert. Durch ihre Copolymerisation mit Vinylverbindungen und durch Modifizierung von Polymeren der Ausgangsimide mit Methyliodid wurden Copolymere gewonnen, die Trimethyl(maleinimidophenyl)ammonium-Einheiten enthalten. Aus den vernetzten Imid-Copolymeren wurden Membranen hergestellt, und nach der Quaternisierung der tertiären Aminogruppen wurden ihre Eigenschaften bestimmt.

New quaternary ammonium monomers derived from N-(dimethylaminophenyl)-maleimides were prepared and characterized. Their copolymerization with vinyl compounds and modification of the polymers of the starting imides with methyl iodides yielded copolymers containing trimethyl(maleimidophenyl)ammonium units. Membranes based on crosslinked imide copolymers were prepared, and their properties were determined after quaternization of the tertiary amino groups.
