Based on a multiparameter reaction-mass transfer model of the esterification of terephthalic acid with ethylene glycol, the rate constants of the most important reactions, the dissolution rate of terephthalic acid and the evaporation rate of water and ethylene glycol were determined. The parameter identification was based on experimental values obtained in a 5-1-laboratory reactor. The composition of the esterification products was estimated by the HPLC method.

Auf der Grundlage eines mehrparametrigen Reaktions-Stoffübertragungs-Modells der Direktveresterung von Terephthalsäure mit Ethylenglycol werden die Geschwindigkeitskonstanten der wichtigsten chemischen Reaktionen sowie die Auflösungsgeschwindigkeit von Terephthalsäure und die Abdampfgeschwindigkeit von Wasser und Ethylenglycol bestimmt. Der Parameteridentifizierung wurden Veresterungsversuche in einem 5-1-Rührreaktor bei 0,3 und 0,5 MPa zugrundegelegt. Die Zusammensetzung des Veresterungsgemisches wurde mittels HPLC bestimmt.
