    Description / Table of Contents: Die thermische und thermohydrolytische Beständigkeit von Polycarbodiimiden unterschiedlichen chemischen Baus wurde im Temperaturbereich 200 bis 550°C untersucht. Die gasförmigen, flüssigen und festen Abbauprodukte wurden identifiziert. Festgestellt wurde ein wesentlicher Einfluß des Grundbausteins der Polycarbodiimide auf ihre thermische Beständigkeit. Die thermohydrolytische Beständigkeit nimmt nach vorheriger Strukturierung im Inertmedium oder im Vakuum zu.
    Notes: Thermal and thermohydrolytic degradation of polycarbodiimides having different chemical structures was investigated in the temperature range 200 to 550°C. Gaseous, liquid and solid products of degradation of polycarbodiimides were identified. The chemical structure of the elementary link of polycarbodiimides were found to have a substantial in fluence on their thermostability. The thermohydrolytic stability of polycarbodiimides was also found to increase, provided they are pre-crosslinked in vacuum or in an inert medium.
