Oxovanadates with Mixed Valence. II. Synthesis and Crystal Structure of SrV10O15For the first time SrV83+V22+O15 was prepared and investigated by X-ray single crystal data (space group D2h18 - Ccmb, a = 991.5; b = 1157.4; c = 932.4 pm, Z = 4). The structure of SrV10O15 consists of an V3+/V2+ - O2- octahedral framework with a large cavity built up from 12 VO6 octahedra. The resemblance of the V12O50 groups in respect to the polyacids is discussed.

Erstmals wurde ein gemischtvalentes Oxovanadat der Formel SrV83+ V22+O15 dargestellt und an Einkristallen untersucht (Raumgruppe D2h18 - Ccmb, a = 991,5; b = 1157,4; c = 932,4 pm, Z = 4). Der Aufbau dieser Verbindung aus einem V3+/V2+ - O2--Oktaedergerüst mit Hohlräumen aus 12 VO6-Oktaedern und die Ähnlichkeit dieser V12O50-Baueinheit zu Polyanionenstrukturen werden diskutiert.
