    Description / Table of Contents: Boron Chelates and Boron Metal Chelates. VII. Reaction of Boric Acids with Dioximatonickel ChelatesThe monoboroxino chelates la-c with a boron/nickel ratio of 3:1 are formed by the reaction of trimethoxyboroxine or dimethylammonium pentaborate dihydrate and nickel glyoximates. With boron trioxide, metaboric and orthoboric acid cyclic metaborates of some cationic bis(hydroxoboron)nickel chelates with B/Ni = 4:1 are obtained (2a-d). While boron-nickel chelates with the ratio of 5:1 do not seem to exist the bis(boroxino) chelates 3a-c with a boron/nickel ratio of 6:1 can be isolated if tris(cyclohexyloxy)- or trimethoxyboroxine react on various nickel glyoximates. The infrared spectra as well as the diamagnetic character of the compounds described are in agreement with planar structures.
    Notes: Aus Nickeldioximaten und Trimethoxyboroxin bzw. Dimethylammonium-pentaborat-Dihydrat lassen sich die Mono(boroxino)-Chelate la-c mit dem B/Ni-Verhältnis (3:1) darstellen. Salzartige Trimetaborate der Bis(hydroxobor)-Chelate (2a-d) mit B/Ni (4:1) werden mit Bortrioxid, Metaborsäure oder Orthoborsäure und den entsprechenden Nickeldioximaten erhalten. Während Bormetallchelate mit B/Ni (5:1) nicht erhalten wurden, sind die Bis(boroxino)-Chelate 3a-c mit B/Ni (6:1) aus Nickeldioximaten und Tris(cyclohexyloxy)boroxin oder Trimethoxyboroxin darstellbar. Die IR-Spektren sowie der diamagnetische Charakter der Verbindungen sprechen für planare Strukturen.
