Kinetic Studies of Thermochemical Reactions of Tungsten and Vanadium Compounds in a Graphite Matrix in the D. C. ArcThermochemical reactions between the sample components influence the intensity of spectral lines during spectral analyses. The studies on the course of the reaction and on the vaporization behaviour during the excitation in a d. c. arc were performed by means of x-ray diffraction and spectroanalytical investigations. A favourable influence on the thermochemical reactions and an essential improvement of detection limits were obtained by addition of LiF, C2Cl6 or C3Cl8 respectively.

Thermochemische Reaktionen von Analysenpartnern beeinflussen in der Spektralanalyse die Intensität der Spektrallinien. Röntgenographische und spektralanalytische Untersuchungen von Wolfram- und Vanadinverbindungen in einer Graphitmatrix dienten dem Studium des Reaktionsverlaufes und des Verdampfungsverhaltens bei Anregung im Gleichstrombogen. Durch Zugabe von LiF, C2Cl6 und C3Cl8 konnte eine günstige Beeinflussung der thermochemischen Reaktionen und damit eine wesentliche Verbesserung der Nachweisbarkeit der Elemente erreicht werden.
