The Chemical Behaviour of Me6-Complexes (Me = Nb, Ta, Mo, W) in Analytical ViewThe paper is concerned with compounds of the type [Nb6Cl121]Cl2a and [Mo6Cl81]Cl4a. The analytical behaviour of these and corresponding tantalum and tungsten compounds and also of complexes with different halogen atoms, are investigated.Essential topics are: fusion processes, determination of the total oxidation number, behaviour and determination of the “outer” halogen Xa and of the total halogen, precipitation of the complex groups, redox behaviour.

Typische Vertreter der hier untersuchten Verbindungen sind [Nb6Cl121]Cl2a und [Mo6Cl81]Cl4a. Diese sowie entsprechende Tantal- und Wolframverbindungen und ferner Varianten in der Halogenbesetzung wurden auf ihr analytisches Verhalten hin geprüft. Wesentliche Themen sind: Aufschlußverfahren, Bestimmung der totalen Oxydationszahl, Verhalten und Bestimmung der äußeren Halogene Xa sowie des Gesamthalogens, Fällung der komplexen Gruppen, Redox-Verhalten.
