Lead(IV) Halide AcetatesThe preparation of mixed lead(IV) compounds of the type X2PbY2 by reaction of PbX4 and HY in tetrahydrofurane (THF) is reported (X = OCOCH3; Y = Cl, Br, oxinate - these three compounds contain also 2 THF - , acetylacetonate, benzoylacetonate). (CH3COO)2PbBr2 · 2 THF is the first inorganic bromine containing lead(IV) compound: The analogous iodine compound could not be prepared.

Es wird über die Darstellung gemischter Blei(IV)-Verbindungen des Types X2PbY2 durch Umsetzung von PbX4 mit HY in Tetrahydrofuran (THF) berichtet (X = OCOCH3; Y = Cl, Br, Oxinat - diese drei enthalten noch 2 THF - , acetylacetonat, benzoylacetonat). (CH3COO)2PbBr2 · 2 THF ist die erste anorganische Br enthaltende Blei(IV)-Verbindung. Die entsprechende Jodverbindung konnte nicht dargestellt werden.
