By the reaction of (I) [see “Inhaltsübersicht”] or its mono- and di-N-lithium derivatives, respectively, with the three methyl chlorosilanes and SiCl4, the new chain compounds (II) and (III) or the five-membered ring compounds (VI), (VII), and (VIII) were prepared.(I) reacts with CH3SiCl3 or SiCl4 in a complex reaction giving (IX) resp. (X). Some properties and reactions of the new compounds are described.

(CH3)3SiNHCH2CH2NHSi(CH3)3 (I) reagiert mit einem Überschuß von (CH3)3SiCl zum [(CH3)3Si]2NCH2CH2NHSi(CH3)3 (II). [(CH3)3Si]2NCH2CH2N[Si(CH3)3]2 (III) bildet sich nur in sehr geringer Menge. Durch Umsetzung von (I) mit n-C4H9Li läßt sich (CH3)3SiNLiCH2CH2. NHSi(CH3)3 (IV) oder (CH3)3SiNLiCH2CH2NLiSi(CH3)3 (V) erhalten. (IV) reagiert mit (CH3)3SiCl zu (II), (V) reagiert mit (CH3)3SiCl zu (III), mit (CH3)2SiCl2 (a), CH3SiCl3 (b) und SiCl4 (c) zu cyclischen Verbindungen des Types Mit CH3SiCl3 und SiCl4 setzt sich (I) in komplexer Reaktion zum R—NHCH2CH2NH—R (IX) Es werden einige Eigenschaften und Umsetzungen der neuen Verbindungen beschrieben.
