Description / Table of Contents:
Notes:
A conductometric study on the precipitation of thorium as selenite is described. Both direct and reverse conductometric titration procedures have been shown to bc feasible over the range 0.02-002 M thorium. The effect of addition of ethanol has also been investigated, and it has been shown that only the normal selenite with a Th:Se ration of 1:2 is formed in aqueous solutions. In alcoholic medium the ratio is between Th:Se = 1:2 and 1:1.4.
