Mixed silyl- and phenyl-substituted amines, N(C6H5)n, not obtainable by reaction of aniline or diphenylamine with ClSiR3, result after metallation of the phenylamines (R= -Cl, -Br, -OCH3, -CH3; tab. 1). Phenyl and silylgroups are comparable in their influence on the N-atom of the amines.

Die durch direkte Silylierung von Anilin oder Diphenylamin mit ClSiR3 nicht zugänglichen gemischt silyl- und phenylsubstituierten Amine N(C6H5)n(SiR3)3-n konnten nach Metallierung der Phenylamine leicht dargestellt werden (R = Halogen, -OCH3, -CH3). In der Beeinflussung des Amin-N-Atoms zeigen Phenyl- und Silyl-Gruppen große Ähnlichkeit.
