The trigonal sodium-manganese double sulfate described in 1867 by Scacchi as Mn4Na6(SO4)7 · 8 H2O has the correct formula Mn7Na12(SO4)13 · 15 H2O. The compound being isotype with the salt minera loeweite crystallizes in the space group R3 with the lattice constants c = 13,55 ± 0,05 and a = 19.09 ± 0.05 Å.

Das von SCACCHI 1867 beschriebene trigonale Natrium-Mangan-Doppelsulfat hat die Formel Mn7Na12(SO4)13 · 15 H2O. Die von Scacchi angegebene Formel Mn4Na6(SO4)7 · 8H2O konnte nicht bestätigt werden. Die Substanz kristallisiert in der Raumgruppe R3 mit den Gitterkonstanten c = 13,55 ± 0,05 Å und a = 19,09 ± 0,05 Å und ist dem Salzmineral Löweit isotyp.
