Description / Table of Contents: Zirkoniumverbindungen ergeben mit 2-(4-Sulfonaphthylazo)-1,8-dioxy-2′-nitrosonaphthalin-3,6-disulfosäure einen rotbraun gefärbten löslichen Komplex, der zum Nachweis und zur spektrophotometrischen Bestimmung des Zirkoniums geeignet ist. Eine Reihe von Kationen und Anionen stören die Bestimmung.

Notes: Zirconium forms a soluble reddish brown complex with 2-(4-Sulfonaphthylazo)-1,8-dihydroxy-2′-nitrosonaphthalene-3,6-disulfonic acid, allowing the spectrophotometricdetermination of Zirconium. Several ions interfere the determination if they are present.
