Notes: In Glossostelma spathulatum (K. Schum.) Bullock liessen sich insgesamt 12 Kedde-positive Stoffe nachweisen (A-K), davon J und K nur in Spuren. Von diesen konnten vier (A, C, D und E 2) in Kristallen isoliert werden. A ist möglicherweise mit Uzarigenin identisch, D wurde eindeutig mit Strophanthidin identifiziert. Stoff G, ein Glykosid, wurde in Form seines krist. Acetylderivats isoliert, das mit Tetra-O-acetyl-strophanthidin-β-D-glucosid identisch war. Strophanthidin-β-D-glucosid ist ein Hauptglykosid von Glossostelma spathulatum; der Stoff wurde früher aus Periploca nigrescens Afzel isoliert13) 16).
