Notes: Durch Einwirkung von N-Bromsuccinimid auf Crotonaldehyd-diacetat entstand das γ-Bromcrotonaldehyd-diacetat. Diese Substanz liess sich in DL-Erythrit, in die stereoisomeren 2,3,4-Tribrom-butanaldiacetate, in Octadien-(2,6)-dial (1,8)-tetraacetat und in das Disemicarbazon- und Di-p-nitrophenylhydrazon des Fumardial-dehyds überführen.
