Mono-, Bis- and Trishydrazo-, and -azo Compounds in the Tricyanobenzene Series, II1) -Electrochemical Investigations of the Title CompoundsThe electrochemical oxidation and reduction properties of different hydrazo and azo compounds of the tricyanobenzene series have been investigated in dry benzonitrile with tetrabutylammonium perchlorate as conductive electrolyte using platinum electrodes for DC-voltammetry, cyclic voltammetry and coulometry.

Die elektrochemischen Oxidations- und Reduktionseigenschaften verschiedener Hydrazo- und Azoverbindungen der Tricyanbenzolreihe werden beschrieben. Die Untersuchungen wurden in wasserfreiem Benzonitril mit Tetrabutylammonium-perchlorat als Leitsalz unter Verwendung von Platinelektroden durchgeführt. Als Meßmethoden kamen DC-Voltammetrie, cyclische Voltammetrie und Coulometrie zur Anwendung.
