Contributions to the Chemistry of Pyrrole Pigments, XXX. - Structure and Properties of a Lactimic Form of Bilatriene-abc (Etiobiliverdin-IV-γ)Decomplexation of the zinc chelate 3 of etiobiliverdin-IV-γ (2) by aqueous hydrogen carbonate yields a compound which is isomeric with 2 - according to ESCA-(N1s)- and IR-spectroscopy it has the monolactim structure 4. It follows from 1H-NMR spectra that 4 has a syn, syn, syn-(Z,Z,Z)-geometry and exhibits a very rapid O··H··O interconversion in solution. Other spetral data (UV/VIS and MS) are discussed. - Compound 4 is very unstable, and readily yields 2.

Durch Dekomplexierung des Zinkchelats 3 von ätiobiliverdin-IV-γ (2) mit Hydrogencarbonat-Lösung erhält man eine zu 2 isomere Verbindung, der aufgrund der ESCA-(N1s)- und IR-Spektren die Struktur des Monolaktims 4 zukommt. Aus 1H-NMR-Untersuchungen folgt, daß 4 in der syn, syn, syn-(Z,Z,Z)-Anordnung vorliegt und in Lösung einen raschen Austausch O··H··O zeigt. Weitere spektroskopische Eigenschaften (UV/VIS und MS) werden diskutiert. - Verbindung 4 ist sehr instabil und wandelt sich leicht in 2 um.
