Notes: Für die Photometrische Bestimmung wird Kobalt als blaues Tri-n-butyl-ammoniumrhodano-kobaltat (II) gefällt und mit Amylalkohol extrahiert. Die gut reproduzierbare Färbung folgt dem Lambert-Beerschen Gesetz bei der Messung bei 620 mμ. Bei Zusatz von Alkalifluorid und Natriumthiosulfat wird die Bestimmung neben Fe3+, Bi3+, Cu2+- und anderen lonen weitgehend selektiv und daher allgemein anwendbar.
