Reactions of Triphenyl (trichloromethyl) phosphonium Chloride with Tertiary PhosphanesTriphenyl(trichloromethyl) phosphonium chloride (1) reacts with chlorodiphenyl- methyldiphenyl-, and phenyldipropylphosphane to give the differently substituted salts 3,12, and 15, containing a P—C—P skeleton. The first step of the reaction is the dechlorination of 1 by phosphane. Thus dichlorophosphorane and the ylide 7 are formed at first, while the subsequent reactions vary remarkably depending on the substituents at phosphorus.

Triphenyl(trichlormethyl) phosphonium-chlorid (1) reagiert mit Chlordiphenyl-, Methyldiphenyl-und Phenyldipropylphosphan zu den unterschiedlich substituierten Salzen 3,12 und 15 mit einem P—C—P-Gerüst. Als erster Reaktionsschritt erfolgt eine Dechlorierung von 1 durch das Phosphan. So entstehen zunächst Dichlorphosphorane und das Ylid 7, deren weitere Reaktionen in Abhängigkeit von den P-Substituenten recht unterschiedlich verlaufen.
