Synthesis and Properties of Iodoamino-p-benzoquinones2-Iodo-5-aminoquinones 3 are synthesized by oxidation of 2-iodo-5-aminophenols 6 with Fremy-salt, 2.6-diiodo-3-aminoquinones 4 are obtained by oxidation of the di- or triiodoaminophenols 7 and 8 or by iodination of the enamines 3. 2-Iodo-3-aminoquinonens 2 are formed by iodination of the enamines 1. The spectroscopic data and the oxidation-reduction potentials of the quinones are reported.

Durch Oxydation von 2-Jod-5-amino-phenonlen 6 mit Fremy-Salz werden die 2-Jod-5-aminochinone 3 dargestellt. 2.6-Dijod-3-amino-chinone 4 erhält man durch Oxydation der Di- und Trijodaminophenole 7 und 8 oder durch Jodierung der Enamine 3. Die 2-Jod-3-amino-chinone 2 sind in gleicher Weise aus den Enaminen 1 zugänglich. Die spektroskopischen Daten und Redoxpotentiale der Verbindungen werden angegeben.
