1H-n.m.r. Studies on the Rotational Isomerism in the Vinylcyclopropane System, II. Conformational Analysis of Methyl Substituted VinylcyclopropanesA number of methyl-substituted vinylcyclopropanes has been synthesized and their n.m.r. spectra have been analysed at different temperatures The data are discussed in relation to the conformational equilibrium between s-trans- and gauche-rotamers and to the stabilising and destabilising substituent effects operating in the different conformations.

Eine Anzahl methylsubstituierter Vinycyclopropane wurde synthetisiert und NMR-spektroskopisch bei verschiedenen Temperaturen analysiert. Die Daten werden im Hinblick auf das Konformations-Gleichgewicht zwischen s-trans- und gauche-Rotameren und die stabilisierenden und destabilisierenden Effekte der Substituenten, die in den verschiedenen Konformationen wirksam sind, diskutiert.
