Stable Mercury(I) Nitrogen CompoundsA series of mercury(l) nitrogen compounds (1-9) has been obtained by reaction of NH-acid acyl amides and hydrazides in benzene solution with freshly prepared dry mercury(I)-carbonate in the dark. Vibrational spectra and X-ray investigations suggest chain structures in 1-3 and 9, group structures in 6 and 8. The bonding system seems to be more stable than hitherto supposed.

Eine Reihe von Quecksilber(l)-Stickstoff-Verbindungen (1-9) wird durch Umsetzung NH-acider Acylamide und -hydrazide in benzolischer Lösung mit frisch hergestelltem, trockenem Quecksilber(I)-carbonat unter Lichtabschluß erhalten. Schwingungsspektrometrische und röntgenografische Untersuchungen weisen hin auf Kettenstrukturen bei den Verbindungen [Hg2N(COCH3)N(COCH3)]n (1), [Hg2N(COCF3)N(COCF3)]n (2), [Hg2N(COCCl3)N(COCCl3)]n (3) und [Hg2(FO2S)NCON(SO2F)]n(9) bzw. Gruppenstrukturen bei Hg2[N(SO2F)(CO2CH3)]2 (6) und Das Bindungssystem scheint stabiler zu sein als bisher angenommen wurde.
