Notes:
An investigation of the effect of sample dimensions on the oxidation of polypropylene is described. The results are used to select testing conditions. Two examples of the utility of the method are presented. First, a control method for uninhibited polypropylene and, secondly, an investigation of the synergistic effect between 2,6-di-t-butyl-p-cresol and dilaurylthiodipropionate.
