Notes: The analysis of low volatile compounds by (GC)2/MS using high-temperature stable glass-capillary columns and a commercially available GC/quadrupole MS instrument is described.It will be shown that no special modifications or procedures are required in analyzing organic compounds exceeding carbon numbers of 50. The application to industrially and naturally occuring high boiling mixtures will be discussed.
