The case is part of the series of studies undertaken in Central America to document the experience of Artisanal Fisheries. This case study in Honduras, specifically focuses on the impact of climate change on the Garifuna community, and identifies the limitations and strengths of Garifuna community in terms of access and use rights to coastal marine resources. It documents the participation of women in the difference processes from capture to product marketing. It also focuses on the current situation of the community in terms of their basic living conditions.
