Description / Table of Contents:
Summary By precipitation of potassium withKramer-Tisdall's reagent, followed by oxidation with permanganate and iodometric determination of the excess of the latter, results are obtained which agree with those furnished byKramer's method to within about 2%. The procedure has the advantage that it can be carried out with quite small amounts of serum, and yields sufficiently exact results without previous removal of albumen.
