Summary A device is described for rotating a crucible without employing a motor; the liquid contents of the crucible can be kept stirred by using a fixed glass rod. Stirring takes place with either simultaneous cooling or heating, dependent on the choice of cold water, compressed air or steam respectively as the source of power.
Abstract:
Résumé On décrit un appareil, qui permet de mettre en rotation un creuset sans moteur. On peut agiter, en remuant, le contenu liquid du creuset en fixant une baguette en verre (un agitateur). On choisit comme moyen motrice de l'eau froide, de l'air comprimé ou de la vapeur, selon qu'on veuille travailler au froid ou au chaud.

Zusammenfassung Es wird eine Vorrichtung angegeben, die es gestattet, ohne Motor einen Tiegel in drehende Bewegung zu versetzen. Durch Fixierung eines Glasstabes kann der flüssige Tiegelinhalt gerührt werden. Je nachdem, ob als Antriebsmittel kaltes Wasser, Preßluft oder Dampf gewählt wird, erfolgt die Rührung entweder unter Kühlung oder in der Hitze.
