Vibrational Spectra and Force Constants of the Series OP(CH3)3—OP(SCH3)3 and SP(CH3)3—SP(SCH3)3The vibrational spectra (IR and RAMAN) are reported for OP(CH3)2(SCH3), OP(CH3)(SCH3)2, SP(OH3)2(SCH3) and SP(;CH3)(SCH3)2. They are assigned to the normal-vibrations. For all compounds the valence force constants are calculated by a simplified valence force field. The f P—CH3 and f P—SCH3 are nearly constant within the series. In the contrary f O = P and f S=P increase by substitution of CH3-groups by SCH3-groups. This is stipulated by the replacing of an element of the first row of eight elements of the periodic table by an element of the second row.

Es wurden die IR- und RAMAN-Spektren der gemischten Glieder obiger Übergangsreihen neu aufgenommen und den Grundschwingungen zugeordnet. Nach einem Näherungsverfahren werden die Valenzkraftkonstanten berechnet. f P—CH3 und f P—SCH3 bleiben innerhalb der Fehlergrenze konstant, während f O=P und vor allem f S=P deutlich zunehmen. Dies wird auf den Ersatz eines Elementes der ersten Achterperiode durch ein Element der zweiten Achterperiode zurückgeführt.
