In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

La población y muestra del estudio, compuesta por estudiantes de práctica del IX y X semestre, añade relevancia a los hallazgos, proporcionando una visión específica del entorno universitario. La investigación utiliza dos técnicas de recolección de datos: encuestas y evaluaciones. Los instrumentos, un cuestionario para la variable de redes sociales y un examen para la variable de ortografía, ofrecen una comprensión integral de la relación entre estas dos dimensiones. El uso del software estadístico SPSS y la prueba de hipótesis mediante el coeficiente de Spearman añaden robustez a los resultados presentados. Los resultados revelan una correlación negativa entre el uso de redes sociales y las habilidades ortográficas, desafiando preconcepciones comunes sobre la influencia positiva de la comunicación digital en la escritura.     Description: The research that resulted in this book aimed to characterize the use of media in three elementary and secondary educational institutions in the cities of Cartago (Valle del Cauca), La Union (Nariño), Dosquebradas (Pereira), and Cartagena (Bolivar) through the construction of a knowledge map that would promote the exchange and articulated management of experiences and developments. The methodology used, integrated different ways of approaching the reality of educational dynamics and actors that generate educational-communicative and social processes to strengthen their training practices. In this line, each experience is consolidated in what are called Media Biographies, product of the experiences, events, times, and efforts each actor has deposited in these processes and that are articulated from different voices; the actors, the researcher when conducted the field work, and later the authors of this document. The research also illustrates a crucial period for educational history at the global level; the health emergency of COVID-19, which was integrated into the dynamics and expanded the ranges of analysis and personal and professional reflection, insofar two experiences were developed in this period, and managed to collect the emotions, the complexity, but also the dynamics to overcome the difficulties. The results show a map that presents different evolving coordinates of routes already established to qualify future inquiry exercises that become beacons on which educational institutions, teachers, and students can replicate, retake, or streamline these experiences and from there, contribute to the quality of education in the country.

    Description: La investigación que dio como resultado este libro, tuvo como objetivo caracterizar el uso de medios de comunicación en tres instituciones educativas de básica y media en las ciudades de Cartago (Valle del Cauca), La Unión (Nariño), Dosquebradas (Pereira) y Cartagena (Bolívar), mediante la construcción de un mapa de conocimiento que fomentara el intercambio y la gestión articulada de experiencias y desarrollos. La metodología empleada, integró diversos modos de acercarse a la realidad de la dinámica educativa y de actores que generan procesos educomunicativos y sociales con el fin de fortalecer sus prácticas formativas. En esa línea, cada experiencia se consolida en lo que se denominan Biografías Mediáticas, producto de las experiencias, los eventos, los tiempos y los esfuerzos que cada actor ha depositado en estos procesos y que se articulan desde distintas voces, los actores, el investigador cuando desarrolló su trabajo de campo y posteriormente los autores de este documento. La investigación permite también ilustrar un periodo de tiempo crucial para la historia educativa a nivel global, que fue la emergencia sanitaria del COVID-19, lo cual fue integrado a la dinámica y que amplió los rangos de análisis y de reflexión personal y profesional, en tanto, dos experiencias se desarrollaron en este periodo y lograron recoger las emociones, la complejidad, pero también la dinámica para superar las dificultades. Los resultados dan cuenta de un mapa que presenta coordenadas diversas, evolutivas, de rutas ya definidas para cualificar futuros ejercicios de indagación que se convierten en faros sobre los cuales instituciones educativas, docentes y estudiantes pueden replicar, retomar o dinamizar estas experiencias y desde allí, contribuir a la calidad educativa en el país.

Un ejemplo reciente son las manifestaciones del paro nacional a finales de abril de 2021, surgidas por el aumento de impuestos de productos esenciales y que fueron marcadas por la brutal represión policial. La violencia y despojo de tierras han sido experiencias cotidianas en la vida de muchos colombianos, particularmente en las zonas rurales y empobrecidas. En este libro, Eduardo Restrepo argumenta que la desigualdad y violencia en Colombia están arraigadas en un orden moral jerarquizado que produce existencias »dispensables«, marcadas por el desprecio y la indiferencia. Aunque el análisis se centra en ese país, sugiere que esta dinámica también puede ser relevante en otros países de América Latina. Restrepo aboga por la importancia de un compromiso ético-político en la elaboración de narrativas más comprensivas sobre los problemas sociales y las luchas por el cambio.

    Description: The Faculty of Philosophy and Letters in Madrid commissioned Marcelino Menéndez Pelayo and Nicolás Salmerón to write a report on the royal decrees that reduced university staffing levels, given by virtue of the authorisations granted by the Budget Law of 30 June 1892. The text of the opinion is reproduced together with some extracts from a well-known book by the professor from the Central University (Historia de los heterodoxos españoles) which help to understand the context of the message. It thus serves to document the extent of an opinion, which is not confined to a single group - the Krausist group - but is shared by other sectors that conceive of the university as something more than an administrative office. The key ideas are: the immobility of the teaching staff; an ideal of family life geared towards scientific research; the demand for autonomy - freedom of action - for the university body; the conception of the university as the representative of national culture; the promotion of scientific and not only professional faculties; the intervention of the university in the choice of its staff; the elimination of course exams... In short, it rejected "the trampling importation of the French centralist regime" and called for emancipation from excessive official tutelage.

    Description: This book arose from the Latin American Network for the study and intervention in happiness and well-being consolidated at the end of the year 2020. The beginning of this happy work team was given from the concerns of a group of researchers from the National Open and Distance University, belonging to the Emotional Development and Education Psychology Group who were interested in the analysis and study of different problems related to quality of life and well-being. From these concerns, the event called International Colloquium: Happiness and Human Well-being was born, whose first edition was held in 2016 and has subsequently been held biannually (2018 and 2020), already completing three versions, in which different researchers and lecturers on the subject participated. and the particular approaches proposed for each edition.

A través de una metodología histórico-crítica que apela al Spatial Turn, la geocrítica, la transmedialidad, el topoanálisis y la frecuencia léxica, se iluminan analogías entre formas de intervención arquitectónica –construcción, refuerzo, demolición de casas o barrios– y vivencias sentimentales y lingüísticas de los personajes poéticos.     Description: La educación básica regular se encuentra en una encrucijada de retos y problemas que van más allá de límites y disciplinas. Este libro, titulado Carolinos en Acción, se presenta como resultado de la aplicación de una estrategia didáctica y metodológica que brinda y propone una transformación en las prácticas pedagógicas a partir de la investigación escolar como herramienta pedagógica, que busca el desarrollo de un pensamiento crítico en los estudiantes carolinos, también fortalece las competencias científicas y la formación de un ciudadano de bien. La investigación escolar tiene gran trascendencia y existen precedentes de su amplio recorrido. Sin embargo, parece ser relegado, mal interpretada o no ser considerada adecuadamente en el marco de la práctica docente en la educación básica, y se limita a trasladar la tarea a escenarios futuros del estudiante como el nivel universitario o de educación superior donde es llevada a cabo por expertos en temas específicos. Lo contrario invitaría a la desmitificación de ciertos paradigmas de la investigación escolar, en los que se brinde apoyo al estudiante como agente de generación de conocimiento, se aleje al estudiante de la formación principalmente in situ, se dinamice la formación en investigación a través de la práctica, y se permite al docente reflexionar y cuestionar la información revisada, y aprender a problematizar los elementos que están en su entorno. La IEI Glorioso San Carlos busca facilitar espacios de encuentro y debate de opiniones entre docentes y estudiantes como fuente de investigación, privilegiando la iniciativa y la creatividad del estudiante y su lugar expectante entre la enseñanza y la investigación, considerando como objetivo de la investigación el hacer y producir. Cada uno de los ensayos de este resumen aborda un tema que fue elegido libremente por cada participante quienes fueron fortalecidos en la competencia escribe diversos tipos de textos y en el uso de herramientas de investigación como: uso adecuado del Word, uso del aplicativo Mendeley, búsqueda de información (bases de datos), citas y referencias en APA7, entre otros. Para la concreción de la presente publicación se implementó el proyecto de innovación “Aprendo a investigar desde mi colegio” aprobado mediante RD N° 242-2023-DREP-UGELP-DGCNSC, dirigido principalmente a estudiantes del tercer, cuarto y quinto grado de educación secundaria, considerando la investigación en la escuela como un reto para la comunidad educativa, de cara al bicentenario y como parte del Eje 3 Investigación e Innovación del Plan Bicentenario de la Institución Educativa Integrada Glorioso Colegio Nacional de San Carlos – Puno, que será un hito en el panorama educativo de la comunidad educativa que responda a la visión de la IEI. Se espera que este resumen no solo alimente la discusión académica, sino que también fomente la acción necesaria para abordar los desafíos importantes que marcarán el futuro de la educación básica y posicione a la IEI Glorioso Colegio Nacional San Carlos como promotor de la investigación escolar.

    Description: Thinking about violence is the philosophical reason expressed in the research condensed in this book. Violence, as the establishment of evil in history, is the unsolvable expression of the inertia and chaos crossing societies, particularly those of today. From which philosophical horizon do we seek to frame the present analysis of violence? It is not easy to determine a single view of the problem because from the English philosopher Thomas Hobbes to the Martinique thinker Frantz Fanon referred to the political power and social segregation exercised by violence. We will go to the mimetic theory proposed by the French thinker, René Girard (1923-2005) in the interest of delimitation. We believe that this philosophical approach allows us to think about violence in the dynamic terms of difference and sameness. The mimetic theory explains the origin of violence in direct relation to the human desire for another (otherness) that seeks to be imitated to the point of its ontological appropriation. Desire mimics another way of desiring, which explains the chain reaction of a violent appropriation that goes through gestures, ways of being, objects, persons, etc. Difference, therefore, is one of the elements integrating the analysis of violence from the mimetic desire, since it is a way of perceiving that human life in social terms exists due to the existence of the other, who is the referent of imitation and at the same time of rivalry. In this order of ideas, the study of violence proposed in this research intertwines the concepts of difference, imitation, otherness, and rivalry.

    Description: Pensar en la violencia es el motivo filosófico que se expresa en las investigaciones que se condensan en este libro. La violencia, como la instauración del mal en la historia, es la expresión irresoluble de la inercia y el caos que atraviesa a las sociedades, particularmente a las actuales. ¿Desde cuál horizonte filosófico buscamos enmarcar el presente análisis a la violencia? No es sencillo determinar una sola mirada al problema, pues desde el filósofo inglés -Thomas Hobbes hasta el pensador de Martinica Franz Fanón hicieron referencia al poder político y de segregación social que ejerce la violencia. En aras de la delimitación acudiremos a la teoría mimética propuesta por el pensador francés René Girard. (1923-2005). Consideramos que esta apuesta filosófica permite pensar la violencia en los términos dinámicos de la diferencia y la mismidad. La teoría mimética explica el origen de la violencia en relación directa con el deseo humano de otro (alteridad) que busca ser imitado hasta su apropiación ontológica. Es decir, el deseo imita otro modo de desear y esto explica la reacción en cadena de una apropiación violenta que va desde los gestos, las maneras de ser, los objetos, las personas, etc. La diferencia es entonces uno de los elementos que integran el análisis de la violencia desde el deseo mimético, ya que es una forma percibir que la vida humana en términos sociales existe debido a la existencia del otro, que es referente de la imitación y al mismo tiempo de la rivalidad. En este orden de ideas en el estudio de la violencia que se propone en esta investigación se entrelazan los conceptos de diferencia, imitación, alteridad y rivalidad.

    Description: Since antiquity, knowledge has often been juxtaposed with opinion. Whereas opinion commonly refers to subjective perceptions and viewpoints, knowledge is typically intended to represent objective and verifiable propositions. On this view, knowledge per se claims a universal dimension in that it pretends to be approvable through the reason of everyone, everywhere. This universal aspect of the concept of knowledge stands in marked contrast to cultures of local knowledge, where the generation of knowledge is dependent on specific times and places. These divergent aspects came into conflict when Indigenous knowledge was contested by Europeans and likewise, Indigenous challenges to European knowledge occurred. Based on religious, linguistic, demographic, and cultural disparities, knowledge operative in one context was adapted, manipulated, reframed, or dismissed as spurious or heretical in another framework. This book focuses on historical examples of Indigenous knowledge from 1492 until circa 1800, with contributions from the fields of history, art history, geography, anthropology, and archaeology.

    Description: Engativá is one of the 21 political-administrative divisions of the Capital District of Bogotá (Colombia), and is distinguished by its urban composition, a high population density and its soils dedicated mainly to residential, commercial and industrial use. However, this territory is also characterized by the presence of ecosystems rich in biodiversity that are threatened by factors associated with urbanization and the effects of climate change. In this locality there are three urban wetlands of RAMSAR category: Juan Amarillo, Jaboque and Santa María del Lago, in addition, in terms of water management, by the administrative jurisdiction of Engativá is a portion of land of the basins of the Bogotá River and the Salitre River. On the other hand, among the green areas that make up the urban fabric, such as neighborhood parks, complementary conservation areas such as the botanical garden and La Florida Regional Park stand out. In relation to these urban ecosystems, which are part of the Main Ecological Structure of the Capital District and its environmental region, this book contains an analysis of each of these components, highlighting elements of their historical trajectory, specialized legal regulations and a description of specific challenges. One of the purposes of the systematization of information collected here is to make evident the nuances of the environmental urban planning managed in the administrative jurisdiction of Engativá: a place where urban vitality and nature converge in a fragile balance, marked by a complex trajectory of environmental degradation and adoption of the inhabitants to the territory.

No obstante, este territorio también es caracterizable por la presencia de ecosistemas ricos en biodiversidad que se encuentran amenazados por factores asociados a la urbanización y los efectos del cambio climático. En esta localidad se encuentran tres humedales urbanos de categoría RAMSAR: Juan Amarillo, Jaboque y Santa María del Lago, además, en materia de ordenamiento hídrico, por la jurisdicción administrativa de Engativá se encuentra una porción de terreno de las cuencas del río Bogotá y del río salitre. Por otra parte, entre las áreas verdes constitutivas del tejido urbano como los parques de carácter vecinal, sobresalen las áreas complementarias para la conservación como el jardín botánico y el Parque regional La Florida. En relación con estos ecosistemas urbanos, que hacen parte de la Estructura Ecológica Principal del Distrito Capital y su región ambiental, el presente libro contiene un análisis de cada uno de estos componentes, resaltando elementos de su trayectoria histórica, las regulaciones jurídicas especializadas y una descripción de los desafíos específicos.     Description: Travel experienced a high point in the interwar period with the beginning of mass tourism in Spain. While Spanish intellectuals visited Europe or America to define their identity and their position in the cultural field, the Spain of the Second Republic attracted many writers, scientists and artists from other countries, who found here one of the great cultural epicenters, but also a country where traditions and ways of life that resisted the push of modern life survived. The Civil War confirmed the idea that the Spanish landscape was the stage where the future of the world was beginning to be decided, and many European and American intellectuals came here in those years, while Renau began the evacuation of the Spanish artistic treasure to protect it from fascist barbarism. This book analyzes the vision of Spain and the world derived from the travels of Walter Benjamin, Nancy Cunard, Walter Starkie, Ortiz Echagüe, Mª Teresa León, Concha Méndez, Mijail Koltsov or the collaborators of the travel magazine Oasis -directed by the engineers Vicente Olmo and Silverio de la Torre-, but also the experience of the inner journey of many of them and the influence of those cultural experiences.

    Description: This manuscript is the result of multidisciplinary research under different scientific-academic perspectives, through the confrontation of criteria of different authors under a descriptive approach that points out the importance of ethics in various current scenarios such as discrimination against women in the workplace, the management of individuals within organizations, The study also shows how ethics affects the organizational climate and teaching management in the case study of a university, ethics and corporate social responsibility as a challenge for companies, labor discrimination as unethical behavior in the area of human resources, and finally, a comparison of ethics in corporate advertising. These studies are carried out from a scientific point of view and are approached to the Ecuadorian reality.

    Description: Il libro raccoglie i contributi presentati nel corso del primo Seminario internazionale METra (Mapping Epic in Tragedy – Epica e tragedia greca: una mappatura) svoltosi nel maggio del 2021 presso l’Università degli Studi di Verona. Il fine di questo volume – e del progetto da cui prende le mosse – è sondare i confini della ricca e frastagliata eredità dell’epica greca arcaica (in primis Omero) nel dramma attico.     Description: The Western thought pattern has based its development on Platonic and Aristotelian ideas. All this based on the influence by the application of the Judeo-Christian religion in the Roman Empire and its corresponding descendants. The Aristotle model has allowed Christian theories to have a theological support. But the idealistic model of Plato and Aristotle was not the only one in ancient times. In the ostracism remained a different and alternative model that allowed the Greeks to understand the universe in a different way, the materialistic one. We refer to the atomistic ideas of Leucippus, Democritus, and Epicurus. We have mistakenly believed that Epicureanism led to Stoicism but in fact only some of the ideas of Epicurus' ethics were retaken by the Stoics. The most important thing went to oblivion, we are referring to the ideas of the nature physics. Only in Modernity, the German philosopher Karl Marx in his dissertation The Difference between the Democritean and Epicurean Philosophy of Nature rescued such thought from ancient times. In this work we intend to analyze how these thinkers of ancient times influenced modern Marxism and feminism with their ideas and cognitive models. The first part of this book corresponds to the study developed for the degree thesis at UNAD. This section deals more specifically with the way in which we see how the ancient atomists resurface in the ideas of the young Marx and we also see how the young Marx manages to rescue and implement ancient materialism to interpret the modern world. In the second part, we intend to show in a more precise way, the way in which, from a new materialistic vision of emotions, specifically love and anger, we can make a complete turnaround and understand these emotions as a battle weapon for feminism. In this way, we were able to web together several concepts that Western thought has rarely dared to propose: a Marxist feminism based on the atomist ideas of ancient times.

    Description: El modelo de pensamiento occidental ha basado su desarrollo en las ideas platónicas y aristotélicas. Todo esto con base en la influencia que tuvo la aplicación de la religión judeocristiana en el Imperio romano y su correspondiente descendencia. El modelo aristotélico ha permitido que las teorías cristianas tengan un sustento teológico. Pero el modelo idealista de Platón y Aristóteles no era el único en la antigüedad. En el ostracismo quedó un modelo diferente y alternativo que permitió a los griegos entender el universo de una forma diferente, la materialista. Nos referimos a las ideas atomistas de Leucipo, Demócrito y Epicuro. Equivocadamente hemos creído que el epicureísmo desembocó en el estoicismo, pero en realidad tan solo algunas ideas de la ética de Epicuro fueron retomadas por los estoicos. En el olvido quedó lo más importante y nos referimos a las ideas de la física de la naturaleza. Tan solo en la modernidad, el filósofo alemán Carlos Marx, en su tesis de grado Diferencia de la filosofía de la naturaleza en Demócrito y en Epicuro, rescató dicho pensamiento de la antiguedad. En este trabajo pretendemos hacer un análisis de la forma en que estos pensadores de la antigüedad ejercieron influencia con sus ideas y sus modelos cognitivos en el marxismo y en el feminismo modernos. La primera parte de este libro corresponde al estudio desarrollado para la tesis de grado en la UNAD. Este apartado trata más específicamente la forma en que vemos cómo los antiguos atomistas resurgen en las ideas del joven Marx, y también vemos cómo el joven Marx logra rescatar e implementar el materialismo antiguo para interpretar el mundo moderno. Ya en la segunda parte tratamos de plasmar de una forma más precisa, la forma en que, a partir de una nueva visión materialista de las emociones, específicamente el amor y la rabia, podemos dar un vuelco total y entender estas emociones como arma de batalla para el feminismo. De esta forma logramos entramar varios conceptos que en muy pocas ocasiones el pensamiento occidental se ha atrevido a plantear: un feminismo marxista basado en las ideas atomistas de la antiguedad.

    Description: This book aims to highlight the educative evolution that Universidad Nacional Abierta y a Distancia – UNAD (National Open and Distance University) has promoted since its foundation, based on the distance learning paradigm, and growing despite the resistance created with traditional education. We present the techno-pedagogical keys of virtual education, new paradigms, and alternative learning models. We explored the Pedagogical Unadista Model (MPU, for its Spanish acronym); the sense and meaning of the learning assessment; the teaching role of the educational tools and resources as knowledge support; as its planning phases and own instruments of virtual education, explaining the Teacher's role in this educational model, in particular of the UNAD. The evolution and historical context of the UNAD, how it accomplished stabilization and routing to become the Colombian mega University and provide the foundation for today's University's future. We assessed the need to change the University as a social organization to regain its previous leadership regarding global alerts. In this context, we evaluated the detachment from orthodox and bureaucratic ways in which public administration performs within a framework of limited effectiveness when accountability on social impact. The book's title, "Educación Virtual e innovación" (Virtual Education and Innovation), is based on the simplest definitions of the components of the meta-system called UNAD. This to clarify the business process reengineering, which was used as a significant opportunity to rebuild a public university with a modern disposition, committed to the pursuit of educational excellence extensive for all. And thereby strongly influence in the hope of creating access opportunities and educational validity for Colombia and Latin America.

    Description: El propósito de este libro es resaltar la evolución educativa que ha promovido la UNAD desde su fundación, tomando como base el paradigma de la educación a distancia y creciendo a pesar de la resistencia que se ha generado con la educación tradicional. Para esto exponemos las claves tecno-pedagógicas de la educación virtual y los nuevos paradigmas y modelos de aprendizaje alternativos. Exploramos el Modelo Pedagógico Unadista MPU, el significado y el sentido de la evaluación del aprendizaje, el papel didáctico que cumplen los medios y los recursos educativos como soporte del conocimiento, así como de sus etapas de planificación e instrumentos propios de la educación virtual explicando el rol del Docente en este modelo educativo, y concretamente en la UNAD. La evolución y contexto histórico de la UNAD, como se logró la estabilización y direccionamiento hasta convertirse en la megauniversidad colombiana, y dar las bases para el futuro de la Universidad de hoy, evaluando la necesidad que existe de convertir a la Universidad como organización social para recuperar el liderazgo que en algún momento de la historia se ha tenido ante las alertas mundiales. En este contexto evaluó el desprendimiento de las formas ortodoxas y burocráticas en las que se desenvuelve la administración de lo público, en un entorno de escasa efectividad a la hora de rendir cuentas sobre el impacto social. El título del libro Educación Virtual e innovación se basa en las definiciones más simples sobre los componentes del Metasistema llamado UNAD, aclarando el proceso de reingeniería organizacional, que fue aprovechado como una gran oportunidad para reconstituir una universidad pública de talante moderno, comprometida con la búsqueda de la excelencia educativa extendida para todos, y así influir significativamente en la esperanza de gestar oportunidades de acceso y rigor educativo para Colombia y América Latina.

    Description: This book is the product of research work called “Estrategias Empresariales para la Asoción de Mujeres Rurales de Colombia y el Caqueta (ASMUCOCA)” (Business Strategies for the Association of Colombia’s and Caqueta’s Rural Women - ASMUCOCA - in English), which has two chapters, the first of which addresses topics such as: Business strategy and the solidarity economy, in which it is explained what business strategies are; business strategies in the solidarity economy; and the significance of planning in the business strategies of solidarity economy’s organizations.     Description: Organizational behavior is somewhat unpredictable due to the very different personalities of the individuals working in the same institution such as universities, being necessary a method to regulate behavior while complying with legal requirements established by the governing bodies of higher education. The objective of this article is to analyze the organizational behavior and the performance of the teachers of the Technical University Luis Vargas Torres of Esmeraldas, Santo Domingo Campus, in order to improve the efficiency with which the processes are carried out and to comply with the institutional objectives by establishing guidelines for the conduct of teachers. As for the methodology used, the bibliographic review method was chosen by searching for information through books, scientific and academic articles. In the discussion, deficiencies in the instability of organizational behavior are evidenced, thus affecting performance and the application of new practices in the institution. The results indicate that there is a direct relationship between leadership and organizational behavior in the educational environment leading to the conclusion that the implementation of actions to generate a positive organizational behavior in pedagogical management allows the creation of an environment with better communication, focus and performance improvement, which allows the growth of the establishment.

    Description: El comportamiento organizacional es algo impredecible debido a las personalidades tan distintas de los individuos que trabajan en una misma institución como las universidades, siendo necesario un método para regular la conducta mientras se cumple con exigencias legales establecidas por los órganos rectores de educación superior. En el presente artículo se tiene como objetivo analizar el comportamiento organizacional y el desempeño de los docentes de la Universidad Técnica Luis Vargas Torres de Esmeraldas Sede Santo Domingo con el fin de mejorar la eficacia con la que se realizan los procesos y dar cumplimiento a los objetivos institucionales al establecer lineamientos para la conducta de los docentes. En cuanto a la metodología utilizada se optó por el método de revisión bibliográfica al realizar búsqueda de información por medio de libros, artículos científicos y académicos. En la discusión se evidencia deficiencias en la inestabilidad del comportamiento organizacional afectando así el rendimiento y la aplicación de nuevas prácticas en la institución. Los resultados indican que existe relación directa entre el liderazgo y el comportamiento organizacional en el ámbito educativo llevando a la conclusión de la implementación de acciones para generar un comportamiento organizacional positivo en la gestión pedagógica permiten crear un ambiente con mejor comunicación, focalización y la mejora del desempeño las cuales permiten el crecimiento del establecimiento.

    Description: Es inevitable interactuar con otras personas en muchos ámbitos, situaciones y aspectos de la vida, sobre todo en los niveles personal y profesional. Manejar, dominar y sobrellevar nuestras habilidades interpersonales nos ayudan a tener una comunicación más beneficiosa con los demás, a expresar mejor lo que necesitamos decir y a entender lo que se nos quiere comunicar;, por lo tanto, a relacionarnos mejor y efectivamente con otro ser humano; es decir, con otro profesional, autoridad, compañero de trabajo y hasta amigo y familiar. Las habilidades interpersonales forman un conjunto de comportamientos y hábitos necesarios para garantizar una adecuada interacción, mejorar las relaciones personales y alcanzar los objetivos de la comunicación; es decir, transmitir o recibir correctamente un mensaje, una información o una orden; son útiles para construir equipos de trabajo eficientes y mejorar las bases de la comunicación interna. Por otro lado, saberse desenvolver en estas habilidades interpersonales, sobre todo en el plano de la educación superior posibilita enormemente el trabajo de aprendizaje por el efecto de bienestar en el desarrollo de su actividad, de su quehacer diario. En ese entender, nos permite establecer vínculos y relaciones estables y efectivas con las personas; es así que su desarrollo implica la capacidad de reconocer nuestras emociones y las de los demás, así como la posibilidad de saber regularlas en las relaciones con los otros. Para los fines señalados, este texto permitirá conocer, de manera muy práctica, a través de la propuesta de sesiones de aprendizaje y marco teórico respectivo, cómo trabajar, aporta, desarrollar habilidades interpersonales en la comunidad educativa universitaria.

Under this approach different methodologies for efficiency and effectiveness arise, the book responds to a "Kaizen" model but under the governmental methodology of Government by Results. The model presented uses quality tools such as identification of the mudas that correspond to waste, application of the 5s, which is a methodology applied to cleanliness, order, planning, safety and self-discipline, these two tools under a PHVA scheme that is nothing more than the process of planning, doing, verifying and acting. In order to apply this model, data must be obtained from the processes and activities, with which we have a background and can measure the fulfillment of institutional objectives.

    Description: Global businesses are of vital importance, both for those who carry them out, as well as for those who benefit indirectly from them. International multi-million dollar agreements or contracts can affect the economy of a nation. Being the companies the main actors and key point for the national economy, therefore, this research aims to demonstrate the importance of ethical principles in global business, as well as business ethics is a basic requirement, in this way to obtain good results with passing of the times. The project is based on a literature review methodology where critical points of view are supported by specific cases from various documented sources, such as the omission or implementation of business ethics and its influence on success, as well as the failure of a company. In the analysis of the results, it can be seen that companies from countries such as Ecuador, Costa Rica, Chile, Peru, Panama, Paraguay and Colombia increasingly adopt ethical principles, looking beyond economic benefit by creating an environment of trust with society, complying with objectives of sustainable development, which in turn have a positive impact allowing the fulfillment of organizational goals.

El proyecto está basado en una metodología de revisión bibliográfica donde los puntos de vista críticos son sustentados en casos puntuales de varias fuentes documentadas, como son la omisión o la implementación de la ética empresarial y su influencia en el éxito, así como del fracaso de una compañía. En el análisis de los resultados se aprecia que empresas de países como Ecuador, Costa Rica, Chile, Perú, Panamá, Paraguay y Colombia adoptan cada vez más los principios éticos viendo más allá del beneficio económico al crear un ambiente de confianza con la sociedad cumpliendo con objetivos del desarrollo sostenible, los cuales a su vez impactar de manera positiva permitiendo cumplir con las metas organizacionales.

El segundo bloque compendia tres reflexiones en torno a la esfera productiva: las posibilidades de los modelos productivos alternativos a la forma de producción hegemónica; los circuitos cortos de comercialización y, el rol de las jóvenes generaciones de horticultores/as en torno a la agroecología. El bloque sobre educación presenta tres investigaciones acerca de las trayectorias educativas de jóvenes y adultos productores hortícolas: su paso por las instituciones educativas de la región, así como sus sentires y experiencias. Por último, el cuarto bloque denominado socio-cultural reúne tres investigaciones que reflexionan acerca de los lazos sociales, las dinámicas interculturales y las condiciones de vida aportando una mirada de género al análisis.

    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: In this book the fundamentals of web programming were investigated, as well as the essential technologies to create web applications, such as HTML and CSS. The basic concepts of Frontend programming using the JavaScript programming language were documented, and the concepts of Backend programming using the PHP programming language were also documented. This book aims to get involved in web programming starting with the study of Frontend to Backend with the basic concepts, codes and examples, using free programming technologies accessible to any student, to create dynamic applications with database access. As a result, it was obtained that it is possible to create complex web applications using current free technologies, with a nice design, designing it easily with a CSS Framework such as Bootstrap, and using JQuery as a library to quickly create applications with JavaScript. PHP was also used because it is one of the most used languages to create applications connected to MySQL databases.

    Description: En este libro se investigó los fundamentos de la programación web, así como las tecnologías esenciales para lograr crear aplicaciones web, tales como HTML y CSS. Se documentó los conceptos básicos de la programación Frontend utilizando el lenguaje de programación JavaScript, se documentó también los conceptos de la programación Backend utilizando el lenguaje de programación PHP. Este libro tiene como objetivo involucrarse en la programación web iniciando con el estudio del Frontend hasta el Backend con los conceptos básicos, códigos y ejemplos, utilizando tecnologías de programación gratuitas accesibles para cualquier estudiante, para llegar a crear aplicaciones dinámicas con acceso a base de datos. Como resultado se obtuvo que se puede llegar a crear aplicaciones web complejas utilizando tecnologías actuales gratuitas, con un diseño agradable, diseñándolo fácilmente con un Framework CSS como Bootstrap, y utilizando JQuery como una librería para crear rápidamente aplicaciones con JavaScript. Se utilizó además PHP por ser uno de los lenguajes más utilizados para crear aplicaciones conectadas a bases de datos MySQL.

Teniendo un pensamiento muy racional del comportamiento humano y social, es entendible que, ante cualquier crisis como la que se vive actualmente, las personas respondan y actúen de diversas maneras; habrá quienes se vean afectadas negativamente, así como otras que pueden centrarse en su desarrollo individual, con una conciencia ligada a una buena actitud que puede producir resultados positivos y así, enfrentar la adversidad.

Desde 2006 es Miembro Titular del Institut International de Philosophie (Francia). En 2010 recibió el Premio ``Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel'', concedido por la Fundación Alexander von Humboldt, en reconocimiento a su trayectoria en la investigación.

    Description: La exploración de Oriente y Egipto estuvo dominada, entre los siglos XVIII y XIX, por las tres potencias de la época: Francia y, siguiendo su estela, Gran Bretaña y Alemania, que sentaron los fundamentos de la asiriología y la egiptología.
