    Beschreibung: Title in English: Methodological publication of work with inclusive classroom with the focus on pupils with physical disability: Methodical Manual Publication is one of the outputs of the project Quality Inclusive Education of Pupils with Special Education Needs at elementary and secondary school. This text focuses on teaching pupils with physical disabilities in an inclusive classroom. The text is divided into three chapters, the first one defines theoretical background. Described is physical disability with an emphasis on cerebral palsy together with the specifics of the target group of pupils. Part of the chapter also defines special pedagogical diagnostics. The second chapter focuses on the education of pupil with cerebral palsy in inclusive school. In the third chapter are presented results of the research part of the project with special education needs – with physical disabilities with the focus on cerebral palsy.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Inclusive Didactics in Elementary School Practice: Theory, Research and Practice The aim of the methodological book is to depict the education of the children with partial function deficits in preschool age and to introduce the specifics of education of the pupils with specific learning difficulties and cognitive disability. The main focus is devoted to a role of the teachers in the inclusive education in terms of the concept of the intervention of the pupils with special needs. Choral singing, recitation and accompanying playing rhythmic instruments, or movement and dance contribute to the removal of barriers and shyness between pupils with SLD and intact pupils, strengthening the overall cooperation between pupils, developing speech skills and language skills, communication in a foreign language, strengthening the socio-emotional competencies of pupils in both groups through aesthetic and emotional experiences from joint activities. The manual is divided into a theoretical part and an appendix, which contains methodological and practical sheets.

The text presents intervention approaches to the development of the phonetic-phonological language level, focuses on strategies to support the development of articulatory ability and hearing perception in the pre-compulsory education period and selected aids for intervention in the phonetic-phonological language difficulties.     Beschreibung: Title in English: Special pedagogical diagnostics in education of individuals with physical disability Limited and disordered movement or ability to move has an impact on the educational process and vocational training of the people with physical disability. It is not always possible to be educated at the place of living, because all schools have non barrier access and are not able to ensure optimal conditions for inclusive education. Immobility often means limited participation of pupil in some lessons, limits the choice of the leisure time activities and complicates independent movement (on a wheelchair) in the social environment due to the lack of the non-barrier access to pavements, shopping centres and cultural centres and offices. In some cases, persons with severe disability have limited life space and are often socially isolated. Together with the inclusive trends in the society it is necessary to create resources which enable to teachers, assistants and leisure time teachers to work with people with physical disability.     Beschreibung: Title in English: Education of Students with Asperger Syndrome in the Inclusive Classroom. The methodological guide focuses on developing social, emotional, and communication skills of students with Asperger syndrome and their classmates, teachers, assistant teachers, and the school staff. We aim to extend knowledge on the specific approaches to students with AS in the inclusive classroom. We offer coping strategies in situations arising from the interaction between the school actors. A classroom adaptation and fostering positive relationships between classmates are the critical factors for positive school experiences of everybody. We present specific cases from the participatory classroom observation. Furthermore, we discuss the difficulties in the inclusive classroom and offer incentives to prevent these situations. We provide the readers with the specific activities for the groups with the students with AS.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: Methodology of working with inclusive class collective with focus on pupils with impaired communication ability. The theoretical part describes the bases for the communication process and its disruption in a broader context, focusing on school age and reflection in the current and educational communication situation. The research part offers the results of the survey, which results from long-term cooperation with two primary schools of inclusive type, in which pupils with different forms of special educational needs are educated. In these schools, precisely, in these classrooms in which pupils with impaired communication ability were educated, the activities aimed at strengthening communicative competence and social ties were carried out at regular intervals during one school year.

Radim Ošmera focuses on the teaching of non-native Czech speakers in his Czech phonetics/phonology principles applied by non-native speakers of the Czech language, Veronika Tinková presents Worksheet design for Czech language for bilingual sixth-through-ninth graders and Věra Šimková presents Adapted reading exercises in the Czech-speaking environment. Miroslav Jindra deals with Methodology of research into children’s theatre audiences through a case study of a production of Vinnetou. The collection is concluded by literary scientific contributions from Kateřina Tesařová with her Death motifs found in the early poetic works of Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic and J.H. Krchovský and Ondřej Pechník’s Reflection of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Tomáš Kolský’s work.

    Beschreibung: Title in English: The Education of Pupils with Special Needs in Czech Language and Literature: Focusing on students with specific learning disablities and health disadvantage. The aim of the text is supporting the inclusive education at the first stage of elementary school, a choice of suitable methods and strategies during the lessons of Czech language and literature. It deals with the topic of dyslexia, dysgraphia and dysorthography. The partial part is focused on Asperger syndrome. The main part of the text is consisted of the training lectures of all three parts of the Czech language. The text emphasizes the approaches in terms of which the educational goals are achieved together with the appropriate interaction between the participants of the educational process, the support of independence and creativity. The work describes activities focusing on the development of the key competences and accessing the subject overlap and application in terms of the cross-curricular topics.

Intervention and correction of specific learning disorders is demanding, long-term, and requires considerable effort from the pupil, teacher, family, and other professionals. The development of specific learning disorders is understood as a process that can be experienced in several stages. Intervention techniques are various procedures that affect the development of reading skills. They help pupils to think over the text and lead them to real understanding and reading experience. This paper provides basic information on specific learning disorders in relation to intervention and simulation. Its goal is to help intended teachers adopt strategies to help them master the learning process.

This publication presents papers from an academic conference held in Brno on October 8, 2020. The participants of the conference are Master's and PhD students. Jan Oujezdský focuses on onomastic issues in his paper “Uliční název jako anoikonymum a jeho odlišnosti od ostatních jmen nesídelních objektů [Street Names as Minor Place-names and How they Differ from Other Names of Non-Residential Objects]”. Andrea Kytlicová examines spoken expressions in the paper entitled “Větná stavba mluvených projevů žáků 2. stupně ZŠ při komunikaci ve výuce [Sentence Structure of Spoken Expressions of 2nd-grade Elementary School Students in Communication in Teaching]”. The paper by Radim Ošmera “Metodologie foneticko-fonologického výzkumu a jeho využití v praxi: Výslovnost hlásky „j“ vietnamskými mluvčími [The Methodology of Phonetic-Phonological Research and Its Use in Practice: The Pronunciation of the sound `j' by Vietnamese speakers]”, as well as the paper by Lucie Křižková “Pracovní listy k moravským reáliím [Worksheets on Moravian Realities]” are concerned with the problem of teaching students with different mother tongues. Miroslav Jindra's paper “Cestou za zrcadlem: k výzkumu dětského čtenářství žáků třetí třídy základní školy [Through the Looking Glass: Research into the Reading of Third-Grade Primary School Pupils]” is focused on children's reading. The paper by Ondřej Zabloudil Pechník “Tematika přírodních národů v české literatuře devadesátých let dvacátého století [The Themes of Indigenous Peoples in Czech Literature in the 1990s]” concludes the proceedings.
