    Description: Provokation, Schriftstellersein als Lebensform und eine die Grenzen des Kanons sprengende Literatur: Um Jörg Fauser, Jürgen Ploog und Carl Weissner entsteht in den 1960er Jahren eine literarische Strömung, die sich an der amerikanischen Beatliteratur und dem Underground orientiert. Dieser Teil deutscher Literaturgeschichte stand lange im Schatten der Gruppe 47 und anderer. Simon Sahner zeigt auf, wie die Bewegung Fragen zum deutsch-amerikanischen Kultur- und Literaturtransfer, zur Autorinszenierung, dem Literaturbegriff und den Funktionsweisen des Literaturbetriebs berührt - und sich darüber hinaus bis heute auf die deutsche Literaturlandschaft auswirkt.

    Description: Der Versuch, Friedrich Schillers Text Über die Ästhetische Erziehung des Menschen (1795) als ›Literatur‹ und nicht als ein theoretisch-poetologisches Dokument der Philosophie über die Kunst zu lesen, stellt die Plausibilität seiner konventionellen disziplinären Verortung in Frage. Denn der darin enthaltene programmatische Anspruch an die »ästhetische Kunst« und die »Dichtung« vollzieht sich zugleich und im selben Text anhand von literarischen Praktiken - wie der Performanz ›logischer Fehler‹. Mit dieser anderen Perspektive auf den vielfach gedeuteten Text erklärt und begründet Alexa Lucke die bis heute ungelösten Probleme seiner logischen Unstimmigkeiten, Widersprüche und Aporien.

    Description: Ein großer Teil herkömmlicher Technikphilosophien basiert auf naturalistisch-anthropologischen Grundvorstellungen oder Handlungskonzepten, die bereits nach einem Grundmuster von Technik modelliert und insofern »technomorph« sind. Sie reflektieren nicht den eigenen Standpunkt. Die vorliegende Untersuchung ist der Frage gewidmet, inwiefern die Technizität unserer Weltbezüge hintergehbar ist bzw. was uns wie veranlasst, den Möglichkeitshorizont des Technischen näher zu erschließen. Das Chiasma, die diagonale Überkreuzung zweier Gegensatzpaare, hat sich als der methodologisch beste Schlüssel für deren Bearbeitung erwiesen - ein Schlüssel, der vor allem am Leib-Seele-Problem sowie an der Geschlechterfrage im Kontext der antiken Polis erprobt wurde. Dieser Schlüssel hebelt die alteingesessenen Dogmen umso besser aus, als er in den antiken Werken selbst zu finden ist. Ausgehend von einer Analyse der neuzeitlichen (Subjekt-)Metaphysik werden dieser kritisch gegenüberstehende Theorieansätze gelesen, die unter dem Titel »Ästhetik« operieren.     Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

In einer historisch weit gespannten Studie unternimmt Hanno Depner eine kultur- und medienwissenschaftliche Kritik der blinden Bevorzugung von Diskursivität. Im Fokus steht die Konturierung des epistemischen Potentials von Diagrammen im Verhältnis zu Schrift und Bild. Dabei wird das Diagramm als Paradigma einer Philosophie vorgeschlagen, die sich als Orientierung versteht. Von den Anfängen nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg bis zur Gegenwart bettet Christian Reumschüssel-Wienert die Entwicklung der Psychiatrie in die sozioökonomische, politische und kulturelle Entwicklung der Bundesrepublik ein. Eine integrierte Sichtweise berücksichtigt sozialpsychiatrische Diskurse ebenso wie psychiatrie- und behindertenpolitische Aspekte in klinischen und außerklinischen Kontexten. Es zeigt sich, dass die Sozialpsychiatrie gesellschaftliche Modernisierungsschübe reflektiert und nachholend umsetzt.

Die Informationsgesellschaft pflegt einen selbstverständlichen Umgang mit sich immer weiter entwickelnden technischen Geräten. Als Schein oder Unwirklichkeit konnotiert, bleiben die neuen Phänomene der Virtualität dabei jedoch weitgehend unreflektiert. Tobias Holischkas phänomenologische Analyse zeigt, dass insbesondere der virtuelle Ort als versammelndes Prinzip eine Realität schafft, die - ganz im Gegensatz zum abstrakten Konzept des Cyberspace - eine ontologische Verbindung zur menschlichen Alltagswelt herstellt und sie auf diese Weise erweitert.

The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

Sie bilden einen Diskurs, der den historischen Prozess seiner eigenen Konstitution als Diskurs beschreibt und betreibt. Der performativen Dimension von Foucaults archäologischem Diskurs wohnt damit eine spezifische Reflexionsfigur inne, die in der vorliegenden Studie als der »archäologische Zirkel« freigelegt wird. Ferner leistet diese Freilegung eine neuartige Auslotung des Foucault'schen Diskursbegriffs und, im Ausgang von Descartes, Kant und Nietzsche, eine Neueinbettung der Philosophie in eine diskontinuierliche Diskursgeschichte.

In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: Warum folgt aus einer prekären gesellschaftlichen Lage nicht automatisch ein politisches Subjekt? Dieser Grundfrage kritischer Gesellschaftstheorie widmet sich Phries Künstler und geht Prozessen prekärer Subjektivierung im Kontext von Mutterschaft und Erwerbslosigkeit nach. Anhand von Interviews mit Teilnehmerinnen von Aktivierungsmaßnahmen werden aus poststrukturalistischer Perspektive die Kämpfe untersucht, die unternommen werden müssen, um den eigenen Subjektstatus gegen die Gefahr der Verwerfung zu sichern. Damit leistet die Studie einen Beitrag zur Theoretisierung und Empirie von Subjektivierung im Horizont sozialer Ungleichheit, Prekarität und Politik.

In sieben Anläufen entwirft sie unterschiedliche Szenarien dieses Spannungsfeldes und betrachtet dabei Denkakte zwischen Agieren und Deliberatio, Psyche und Körper als Handlungsschauplätze sowie Demokratie als die Regierungsform des deliberativen Handelns. Menschliches Handeln wird im breiteren Kontext unbewussten Agierens sowohl aus philosophischer als auch aus gruppen-/psychoanalytischer Perspektive erhellt.

Diese Frage macht eine Kritik der ethischen Institution notwendig. Dabei zeigt Thies Münchow in Anschluss an Kant und Hegel den integralen Zusammenhang von Ethik und Politik auf und nimmt zuletzt eine Neubestimmung der politischen Theologie vor.

Jahrhunderts in der Philosophie zu einer Verabschiedung der Kategorie »Subjektivität«. Die Ironie dieser Situation liegt darin, dass gerade auf dem Boden einer solch umfassenden Kritik die Existenzweise von Subjekten und damit die Möglichkeit der Freiheit neu ausgelegt werden können. Martin Eldrachers Studie zeigt, wie sich erst im Anschluss an die Freilegung einer anarchischen Abhängigkeit Handlungsfähigkeit, Verantwortung und Selbstverständnis als zentrale Komponenten von Subjektivität überzeugend denken lassen.

    Description: Rechtspopulismus und Autoritarismus, Auseinandersetzungen um »Identitätspolitik«, die Digitalisierung der öffentlichen Debatte und die Macht von Verschwörungstheorien führen zu tiefgreifenden sozialen, kulturellen und politischen Transformationsprozessen. Für die Untersuchung dieser Transformationen sind die Theorien des Politischen und der radikalen Demokratie besonders geeignet, da sie die grundsätzliche Fragilität der liberalen Ordnung analysieren. Fraglich ist jedoch, ob die radikaldemokratische Forderung nach einer Disruption der liberalen Ordnung die richtige Antwort auf die beschriebenen Transformationen ist. Die Beiträge unternehmen eine kritische Revision der Theorien des Politischen und erschließen damit das gegenwartsanalytische Potential radikaldemokratischer Ansätze für die 2020er Jahre.

Das Buch untersucht das Hervortreten des Datums aus dem Paratext, die Transgression seiner vermeintlichen Funktion, reine Indikation zu sein.     Description: Soziale Arbeit ist ein wichtiger Teil der medizinischen Rehabilitation. Die Ausgestaltung ihrer Leistungen und ihre potentielle Wirkung blieben bislang allerdings unklar. An dieser Stelle setzen die Autor*innen an und präsentieren die Ergebnisse des Forschungsprojekts SWIMMER: Im Rahmen eines qualitativen Forschungsprojekts wurde die sozialarbeiterische Praxis von Sozialdiensten medizinischer Reha-Einrichtungen untersucht und ein Wirkmodell der Sozialen Arbeit in diesem Bereich entwickelt. Die vergleichende Darstellung der Resultate richtet sich sowohl an Sozialarbeiter*innen als auch an Verantwortliche in den Reha-Einrichtungen, die ihre eigene Praxis reflektieren und einen tieferen Einblick in gängige Arbeitsstrukturen der Sozialdienste erhalten wollen.

    Description: The volume, dedicated to the 44th International Conference of the Italian Union for Drawing, investigates the theme of ‘Transitions’, which particularly effectively represents our time and the current condition of the discipline of Drawing. The term, beyond its generic meaning of an intermediate stage in a process in which a condition changes from one state to another, has always been used in various fields, from music to geophysics. In fact, the disciplines of drawing have always been confronted with themes and issues relating to transitions from one condition to another. The history of representation tells us of transformations, even epochal ones, relating to ‘drawing’, with all that such transitions entail: suffice it to think of the evolution of forms of representation, of instrumental apparatuses, of the mutability of supports, of the analogical-digital transition underway, of the new modes of communication on platforms, of the hypertrophic offer of images also on the net that confirms Guy Debord’s intuitions relating to the new spectacularisation of society. Similarly, representation triggers transitions in the prefiguration and communication of design, the anticipation and foreshadowing of future events.The challenges posed by the digital pose open questions whose scope can only be glimpsed, such as the relationship between drawing and the act of modelling, and the construction of new paradigms of visual language and communication. ‘Transitions’, almost implicitly, points to possible futures, the evolution of technique and the search for new modes of expression; at the same time, however, it can suggest silences and reflections in a process of connection between history, theory, criticism and construction.

    Description: »Die Freiheit zum anderen unterscheidet die Menschen.« (H. Lipps) Die in diesem Essay unternommene Analyse der einzigartigen Epiphanie, in der menschliche Existenz »in die Erscheinung tritt«, führt von der Unscheinbarkeit der Sicht, der Anmut des Gesichts, der Entschiedenheit des frontalen Blicks bis zur Wehrlosigkeit des Antlitzes. In Auseinandersetzung mit erscheinungsphilosophischen Beiträgen von G.W.F. Hegel, H. Barth, H. Lipps und E. Levinas nähert sie sich dem von der Existenzialanalytik bisher verdunkelten »Konvergenzpunkt« von existenzieller und christologischer Erkenntnis. Der in der Epiphanie vernommene deontologische Anspruch tritt in den Lichtkreis einer ethischen Verhaltenheit, die sich der kategorialen Bestimmung entzieht und die Bedeutung des vinculum fidei et amoris für eine verbindliche Existenzform des Menschen sichtbar macht.
