The contributors show how these innovative critical approaches enrich current debates in political science on Islamic religion, incarceration, the ethics of biomedical research, the welfare state, and ecological and student movements in the global South, among others.

Das Heft analysiert die diskursiven und politischen Strategien der gegen 'Gender‘ und den Feminismus gerichteten Mobilisierungen im Kontext des Erstarkens von Rechtspopulismus und Rechtsextremismus und fragt nach emanzipatorischen Gegenstrategien. Es bietet einen Überblick über dieses Phänomen, das in der Forschung teils als Antifeminismus, teils als Anti-'Genderismus‘ bezeichnet wird. Das Heft leistet demnach einen Beitrag zur Schließung von Forschungslücken in einem boomenden interdisziplinären Forschungsfeld.

    Description: Social background determines educational success in Germany. The unequal distribution of educational opportunities is also evident in the area of support for the gifted: although giftedness and intelligence are normally distributed in society, students from less privileged backgrounds are underrepresented in scholarship programmes and support for the gifted. The reasons can be found among teachers who nominate students for support programmes. The study uses the RuhrTalente scholarship programme to analyse how teachers construct scholarship eligibility. From the results, measures can be derived that can contribute to a long-term reduction of educational injustice.
    Description: Soziale Herkunft entscheidet in Deutschland über den Bildungserfolg. Die ungleiche Verteilung von Bildungschancen zeigt sich auch im Bereich der Begabtenförderung: Obwohl Begabung und Intelligenz in der Gesellschaft normalverteilt sind, sind Schüler:innen aus weniger privilegierten Verhältnissen in Stipendienprogrammen und Begabtenförderungswerken unterrepräsentiert. Ursachen dafür lassen sich bei Lehrkräften ausfindig machen, die Schüler:innen für Förderprogramme nominieren. Die Studie analysiert anhand des Stipendienprogramms RuhrTalente, wie Lehrkräfte Stipendienwürdigkeit konstruieren. Aus den Ergebnissen lassen sich Maßnahmen ableiten, die zu einem langfristigen Abbau von Bildungsungerechtigkeit beitragen können.

    Description: Fuzzy knowledge is not (only) a problem, but a capital of educational science. Based on this thesis, the author examines the educational discourse on the basis of the journal for educational science. In contrast to pedagogical certainties and calculabilities, the logical structure of fuzzy knowledge has a grammar that goes beyond simple truth values. In the form of a (metatheoretical) typology, different theoretical approaches to the topic of imprecise knowledge are systematized and exemplified with reference to concrete pedagogical problems.
    Description: Unscharfes Wissen ist nicht (nur) ein Problemfall, sondern ein Kapital der Erziehungswissenschaft. Ausgehend von dieser These untersucht der Autor den erziehungswissenschaftlichen Diskurs anhand der Zeitschrift für Erziehungswissenschaft. Die logische Struktur unscharfen Wissens weist im Gegensatz zu pädagogischen Gewissheiten und Kalkulierbarkeiten eine Grammatik jenseits einfacher Wahrheitswerte auf. In Form einer (metatheoretischen) Typologie werden unterschiedliche theoretische Zugänge ins Themenfeld unscharfen Wissens systematisiert, und unter Rückbezug auf konkrete pädagogische Probleme exemplifiziert.
