    Description: There is a lack of scientifically collected data on intimate partner violence against men in Germany. The authors present findings from a quantitative, representative online survey of 1,200 men aged 18-69 on the prevalence of partner violence, its consequences, men's experiences with the support system and individual risk factors, and a qualitative interview study with 16 men who were interviewed in detail about their experiences. Finally, the study reports the results of an expert workshop in the form of recommendations and a special analysis of the Lower Saxony survey on partner violence among 15-year-old male adolescents.

Die Autor:innen präsentieren Befunde einer quantitativen, deutschlandweit repräsentativen Online-Befragung von 1.200 Männern im Alter von 18 bis 69 Jahren zu Prävalenzen von Partnerschaftsgewalt und ihren Folgen. Vorgestellt werden darüber hinaus die Erfahrungen der Männer mit dem Hilfesystem und einzelnen Risikofaktoren sowie eine qualitative Interviewstudie, bei der 16 Männer detailliert zu ihren Erfahrungen befragt wurden. Abschließend präsentiert das Buch die Ergebnisse eines Expert:innen-Workshops in Form von Handlungsempfehlungen sowie eine Sonderauswertung des Niedersachsensurveys zu Partnerschaftsgewalt an 15-jähringen männlichen Jugendlichen.

    Description: Despite the cessation of coal mining in 2018, the Ruhr area continues to be of considerable importance for the German energy supply. The study uses statistical data to discuss the development since the mid-19th century. The focus is on the historical energy turns triggered by coal, electricity supply, oil and natural gas and the associated processes of change. Another focus, also with topical relevance, is on the nearly one hundred years of experience in the hydrogen economy as the basis of the chemical industry. Thus, for the first time, it offers a synthesis of the diverse energy-economic relationships within the region.

    Description: Trotz der Einstellung des Steinkohlenbergbaus 2018 besitzt das Ruhrgebiet weiterhin eine erhebliche Bedeutung für die deutsche Energieversorgung. Die Studie diskutiert anhand statistischer Daten die Entwicklung seit Mitte des 19. Jahrhunderts. Im Vordergrund stehen die durch Kohle, Elektrizitätsversorgung, Erdöl und Erdgas ausgelösten historischen Energiewenden und die damit verbundenen Wandlungsprozesse. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt, ebenfalls mit aktuellem Bezug, auf den annähernd hundertjährigen Erfahrungen im Bereich der Wasserstoffwirtschaft als Grundlage der chemischen Industrie. Damit bietet es erstmals eine Synthese der vielfältigen energiewirtschaftlichen Beziehungen innerhalb der Region.

In Germany, however, this cooperation instrument is not regulated by law. The study analyses the existing legal framework in international and EU law as well as the corresponding regulations in Switzerland and the Netherlands and outlines a legal and procedural framework for this cooperation instrument.

Fortführung eines Strafverfahrens auf einen anderen Staat (z.B. den Heimatstaat des Täters) übertragen. In Deutschland ist dieses Kooperationsinstrument indes nicht gesetzlich geregelt. Vor dem Hintergrund der zu erwartenden Reform des deutschen Rechtshilferechts analysiert die Studie den bestehenden Rechtsrahmen im Völker- und Unionsrecht sowie die entsprechenden Regelungen in der Schweiz und in den Niederlanden und skizziert, wie eine gesetzliche Regelung in Deutschland aussehen könnte.

    Description: This study analyses local integration management in Germany, France and Sweden from a comparative perspective. It focuses on the inter-administrative relations, coordination and performance of integration management, with a particular focus on developments after the refugee crisis of 2015/16. Based on case studies and expert interviews in the aforementioned three countries, it analyses the institutional interplay between actors in both the multi-level system and the local sphere. The authors examine the national contexts, local institutional settings and crisis-related challenges of integration management performance in the three countries, taking similarities and differences from a cross-country and inter-municipal com-parative perspective into account. Using illustrative examples from practice and deriving lessons from in-depth insights into local problem-solving, the study makes recommendations for the optimisation of integration management and more crisis-resilient administrative organisation in this policy area.
