Es bietet einen Überblick über dieses Phänomen, das in der Forschung teils als Antifeminismus, teils als Anti-'Genderismus‘ bezeichnet wird.     Description: Gender and sexual diversity is becoming a topic in everyday school life, but still occupies a precarious position in it - this not only affects LGBTIQ* children and young people, but also educational professionals, as this study shows. Based on a critically deconstructive pedagogy and on qualitative interviews with lesbian, gay, bi- and heterosexual as well as inter*, trans* and cisgender teachers, the study reconstructs social patterns of interpretation about how they deal with and address diverse lifestyles at school and in the classroom. The study makes an innovative contribution to an area of educational science that has hardly been researched so far and thus provides new impulses for a queer professionalisation of (future) teachers.
    Description: Geschlechtliche und sexuelle Vielfalt ist im Schulalltag zunehmend präsent, nimmt darin jedoch nach wie vor eine prekäre Position ein - dies betrifft nicht nur LGBTIQ*-Kinder und -Jugendliche, sondern ebenso pädagogische Fachkräfte. Ausgehend von einer kritisch-dekonstruktiven Pädagogik rekonstruiert die Studie soziale Deutungsmuster über den Umgang mit und Thematisierung von vielfältigen Lebensweisen in der Schule. Dies geschieht auf Basis von qualitativen Interviews mit lesbischen, schwulen, bi- und heterosexuellen sowie inter-, trans*- und cisgeschlechtlichen Lehrkräften. Das Buch leistet damit einen innovativen Beitrag zu einem bislang kaum erforschten Themengebiet der Erziehungswissenschaft und liefert hierdurch neue Impulse für die Professionalisierung von Lehrkräften.

    Description: Wie kooperieren Eltern miteinander, welchen Wert messen sie ihrer Interaktion bei und wie hängt der Grad der Kooperation mit dem sozialen Status und zusammen? Die Studie nimmt die sozialen Beziehungen zwischen verschiedenen Gruppen chinesischer Eltern an einer chinesischen Mandarin-Sprachschule in einer Großstadt in Deutschland unter die Lupe. Mit Hilfe eines ethnographischen Ansatzes wird ein lebendiges Bild der elterlichen sozialen Interaktionen innerhalb und außerhalb des chinesischen Schulumfelds gezeichnet. Die Studie zeigt die Bedeutung sozialer Interaktionen auf und erörtert sie im Zusammenhang mit dem sozioökonomischen Hintergrund ihrer Migrationsverläufe; How do parents cooperate with each other, what value do they attach to their interaction and how is the degree of cooperation related to social status? The study takes a close look at the social relationships among various groups of Chinese parents at a Chinese Mandarin language school in a metropolitan city in Germany. Taking an ethnographic approach, it captures a vivid picture of the parental social interactions in and outside the Chinese school setting. The study reveals the significance of social interactions, discussing it in relation to the parents’ socioeconomic backgrounds and individual migrant trajectories.

    Description: Schulbücher haben innerhalb der Schule eine große Bedeutung für die Gestaltung des Unterrichts. Das Thema Subsahara-Afrika spielt sowohl in der hiesigen Gesellschaft als auch in Schulbüchern eine eher untergeordnete Rolle. Diese Erfahrung machte der aus Eritrea geflüchtete Autor in den 1980/90er Jahren als Lernender an einer Wuppertaler Gesamtschule. Im Rahmen seines Studiums der Sozialpädagogik stellte er fest, dass diese Problematik im universitären Kontext ebenfalls nur marginal behandelt wird. Auch außerhalb der Schule wird Subsahara-Afrika in der allgemeinen Medienberichterstattung als Krisen- und Katastrophenregion dargestellt, bei der insbesondere der Anteil europäischer bzw. westlicher Länder an dieser Situation weitgehend eine untergeordnete Rolle spielt und Initiativen aus Subsahara-Afrika zur Lösung von Problemen kaum Erwähnung finden.

    Description: The advancing digitalisation is leading to a fundamental change in the world of work. So far, women have not taken advantage of the associated career opportunities to the same extent as men. A gender-sensitive design of degree programmes can make a significant contribution to changing this situation. This publication examines which measures were taken to this end in the new "Business Administration - Digital Economy" course at Beuth University of Applied Sciences. In addition, relevant experiences and good practices from other universities are presented and the possible gain of knowledge on career goals and career requirements from surveys of students and graduates is discussed.

    Description: Engineering sciences in Germany remain a male domain, although for years, efforts have been made to balance gender relations in these areas. The author examines the question of whether and to what extent the asymmetrical gender relationship is rooted in the contents and cultures of engineering sciences themselves. Interviews with engineers are used to identify various key concepts that contribute to the maintenance of binary, heteronormative gender relations in this field.; Die Ingenieurwissenschaften in Deutschland halten sich als Männerdomäne, obwohl es seit Jahren Bemühungen gibt, das Geschlechterverhältnis in diesen Bereichen auszugleichen. Die Autor_in geht der Frage nach, ob und inwiefern das asymmetrische Geschlechterverhältnis in den Inhalten und Kulturen der Ingenieurwissenschaften selbst begründet liegt. Anhand von Interviews mit Ingenieur_innen werden verschiedene Schlüsselkonzepte identifiziert, die zur Aufrechterhaltung des binären, heteronormativen Geschlechterverhältnisses in diesem Feld beitragen.
