Description: This study was carried out to investigate the optimum stocking density for white leg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in earthen ponds in Choweibdeh shrimp site Abadan southwest Iran. Six 0.5 ha. Earthen ponds were applied to survey three stocking density of this shrimp (30, 45 and 60 indviduals/m^2) with two replicates each. 15 days old postlarvae (PL15) with mean weight of 0.021 g were reared in the experimental ponds for 60 days. Results showed no significant difference (P〉0.05 ) between the tested stocking densities in terms of growth (weight gain, length increment), specific growth rate (SG ), weekly growth rate, survival rate, food conversion ratio (FCR ) and protein efficiency rate (PER). Nevertheless best results were obtained in the stocking density with 30 ind./m^2 . Yield was increased by increasing the stocking density and the highest yield was obtained in the density of 60 ind./m^2 with significant difference with two other densities. Ultimately, according to the findings of the present study, stocking density of 60 ind./m^2 can be suggested as an acceptable density to be applied for white leg prawn in the region.

Description: The present study was carried out from late October2010 to end of June 2011. Executive operations were done in two stages; proleus catching from the sea and stocking/rearing them in a control conditions. Totally, it took 8 months from start to finish. The research objectives were; - Proleus catching techniques achievement. -Proleus keeping, stoking and rearing achievement. 32 pieces of proleus and post-proleus were collected by special installed collectors at the beneath of the sea. They were stocked after adaptation and initially biometry. In order to stocking, two 4th-tone tanks (one for proleus stage and another one for post-proleus stage) were applied. 0.77 gram and 11.8 gram was recorded as average weighted for proleus and post- proleus, respectively. Four stations were chosen for collecting of require samples. They were starched from west side of Ramin’s Jetty toward east. 84% of the samples were caught from the station two, using sandwich collectors. Collector’s efficiencies were compared to each others, in this study. A significant difference was observed between the sandwich collectors efficiency with the other collectors (p〈0.05). This status was not observed between the other collectors, together (p〉0.05). Comparison of the proleus abundance between stations showed a significant difference between station 2 and other stations, but there wasn’t any sig. difference between the stations number 2, 3 and 4, together (p〉0.05). The samples were fed by fish waste, bivalves and squid. The amount of larval requirement food was calculated based on 15% of their body weight. During breading period, 50% of the rearing tanks water was exchanged, daily. Total weight, total length and carapace length was measured, monthly. 0.6 gram, 5.5 mm and 1 mm was recorded for mean total weight, mean total length and mean carapace length for proleus and 18.3 gram, 25.4 mm and 8 mm was recorded for mean total weight, mean total length and mean carapace length for post-proleus. According to the results, can be realized that growth rate in post-proleus was much faster than the growth rate of proleus. Finally, comparison of the total weight, total length and carapace length between proleus and post-proleus were showed a sig. differences between the two reared groups (p〉0.05).

Description: Intensive culture of rainbow trout, usually done using several different methods. The objective of this study was to compare fish performance and welfare in a new design of Foster-lucas ponds (FLP) and a raceway ponds (RP) under field conditions. Currennt study was designed in two treatment with three repeats. Each pond was randomly stocked by rainbow trout fish with initial average weight of approximately 51±5 g. stocking density was 120n/m3 during study. After 10 months of trial, fish fed diets with commercial diet (Chineh Company). Feeding operation conducted according to the manuals by consideration of water temperature, fish weight and biomass. During the 10 months experiment, the fish survival rate was high (97.39 and 98.05%). No significant differences in growth parameters were observed between RP and FLP, but in all parameters FLP was higher than RP Final weight was 0.99% higher in FLP than in RP. Water quality factors (Dissolved oxygen, PH) was better in FLP. The results confirm that when water quality is maintained in safe level ranges, growth rate of rainbow trout attained in FLS are comparable to those in RP.

Description: This study was carried out to investigate the optimum stocking density for white leg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in earthen ponds in Choweibdeh shrimp site Abadan southwest Iran. Six 0.5 ha. Earthen ponds were applied to survey three stocking density of this shrimp (30, 45 and 60 indviduals/m2) with two replicates each. 15 days old postlarvae (PL15) with mean weight of 0.021 g were reared in the experimental ponds for 60 days. Results showed no significant difference ( P 〉 0.05 ) between the tested stocking densities in terms of growth ( weight gain, length increment ), specific growth rate ( SGR ), weekly growth rate, survival rate, food conversion ratio ( FCR ) and protein efficiency rate ( PER ). Nevertheless best results were obtained in the stocking density with 30 ind./m2 . Yield was increased by increasing the stocking density and the highest yield was obtained in the density of 60 ind./m2 with significant difference with two other densities. Ultimately, according to the findings of the present study, stocking density of 60 ind./m2 can be suggested as an acceptable density to be applied for white leg prawn in the region.

Description: This study done for detection of best stoking density Of Penaeus indicus in intensive culture with corrporatiny Abzian Bandar Co. in northern Tiab area (Hormozgan Province) In this research measuring many factors in clude: Temperature, Dissolve oxygen, salinity, pH, turbidity, biometric and hygien of condition of shrimps. The results show Dissolve oxygen level in after noon suitable but not suitable in early mornnig for growths of shrimp. Salinity levels in early cycle of culture high an in middle to end cycle of culture decreasiy becuase in creasiny of water exchange. Turbidity level of water growths of shrimp is good and Temperature with pH of water ishigh in standard level. The resultes of hygien condition show that with in creasing density percentage of infections of bacteria and fungus and also parasites in creasiny. Also resultes show growth of shrimp very down beacuse period of culture very long and middle daily growth for all treatments down for 0.9 g Also persentaye Pie survival showes that treatment 18 -.with middle 97.3% have highest survival and more economically to other treatments. In spite of stocking density increasiny but increasiny but income from sale of shrimp decreased.

Description: The present study was carried out from late October2010 to end of June 2011. Executive operations were done in two stages; proleus catching from the sea and stocking/rearing them in a control conditions. Totally, it took 8 months from start to finish. The research objectives were; - Proleus catching techniques achievement. - Proleus keeping, stoking and rearing achievement.
