    Description: Immer häufiger geben demokratische Gegenwartsgesellschaften Inklusionsversprechen ab, ohne sie einzulösen zu können. Verdeckung als analytische Kategorie ermöglicht es, Ambivalenzen sowie Gründe und Genese dieser Ein- und Ausschlussverhältnisse zu untersuchen. Daraus folgt keine Abkehr von Einschlussbemühungen, vielmehr ist die Auseinandersetzung mit Verdeckung essentiell für eine Gesellschaft, die aus kontingenztheoretischer Perspektive an ihrer normativen Semantik scheitern muss. In einer erziehungswissenschaftlichen, soziologischen und politikwissenschaftlichen Annäherung erkunden und konturieren die Beiträger*innen Verdeckungen interdisziplinär.

    Description: América Latina atraviesa una marcada crisis ambiental, que está llevando al subcontinente a un colapso, entendido este como un cambio en la sociedad, y en la forma de vivir en la actualidad. Esta crisis ecológica se ha visto ahondada con la profundización del modelo económico neoliberal y del neoextractivismo, el cual ha generado una disputa por los bienes comunes. Al mismo tiempo en distintos territorios de la región se están desarrollando alternativas agroecológicas, cooperativas, redes de economía solidaria, eco-tecnologías apropiadas y nuevas construcciones societales basadas en paradigmas como el buen vivir, que van sembrando esperanzas de evitar el colapso, bajo el desarrollo de sociedades en movimiento que reflexionan y actúan en defensa de la madre tierra.

    Description: A part of sociology always wants to distance itself from any interference in the practice, and another part to influence society. In the first case, sociology sees itself as a science that looks at society from the outside. In the second case, she can not evade her affiliation with society. But what do these supposedly contradictory goals mean for sociologists and what does that say about the subject itself? Natalie Mevissen investigates the relationship of sociology to society with the help of hermeneutic interview analyzes and at the same time formulates conditions for a sociology of sociology in theory and methodology. She advocates a change of perspective: away from a problem discourse towards a perspective of the elective affinity of sociology with society.
    Description: Ein Teil der Soziologie will sich seit jeher von jeglicher Einmischung in die Praxis distanzieren, ein anderer Teil in die Gesellschaft hineinwirken. Im ersten Fall begreift die Soziologie sich als Wissenschaft, die von Außen auf die Gesellschaft schaut. Im zweiten Fall kann sie sich ihrer Zugehörigkeit zur Gesellschaft nicht entziehen. Was jedoch bedeuten diese vermeintlich widersprüchlichen Ziele für Soziolog*innen und was sagt das über das Fach selbst aus? Natalie Mevissen untersucht das Verhältnis der Soziologie zur Gesellschaft mit Hilfe hermeneutischer Interviewanalysen und formuliert zugleich Bedingungen für eine theoretisch wie methodologisch fundierte Wissenschaftssoziologie der Soziologie. Sie plädiert für einen Perspektivwechsel: weg von einem Problemdiskurs hin zu einer Perspektive der Wahlverwandtschaft der Soziologie mit der Gesellschaft.

    Description: Community and individual experiences in the fields of art and religion are often experienced and described as "inexpressible", as immediate and at the same time, as fluctuating and fleeting. They exceed the order of space and time - and yet are conditioned by the concrete ritual dimensions of the performance and execution and the sensual (aesthetic) experience. The interdisciplinary contributions of the volume are dedicated to these experiences and their representations in various media such as Dance, music and film and especially ask about transcultural dimensions. The central example is the interface between Germany and South Asia.
    Description: Gemeinschaftliche und individuelle Erfahrungen in den Bereichen der Kunst und der Religion werden oft als »unaussprechlich« erlebt und beschrieben, als unmittelbar und gleichzeitig, als schwankend und flüchtig. Sie überschreiten die Ordnung von Raum und Zeit – und sind doch bedingt durch die konkreten rituellen Dimensionen der Auf- und Ausführungen und des sinnlichen (aisthetischen) Erlebens. Die interdisziplinären Beiträge des Bandes widmen sich diesen Erfahrungen und ihren Repräsentationen in verschiedenen Medien wie z.B. Tanz, Musik und Film und fragen besonders nach transkulturellen Dimensionen. Zentrales Beispiel ist dabei die Schnittstelle zwischen Deutschland und Südasien.

    Description: Prototypes migrate from the workshops to society. They are no longer considered deficient because of incomplete objects. Rather, it is through the design of the material provisional that the social day after tomorrow is shaped and technologised. The production and reception of these artefacts is transformed from an exclusive expert activity to a public social practice: Prototypes are produced in publicly accessible Makerspaces and celebrated in urban event formats. Sascha Dickel shows that this can also be accompanied by a new form of criticism that does not oppose the technologization of the social, but opens up ways to design alternative futures in a technologically integrated world.
    Description: Prototypen wandern aus den Werkstätten in die Gesellschaft. Sie gelten nicht länger als defizitäre, weil unvollständige Objekte. Vielmehr wird gerade durch das Design des materiell Vorläufigen das gesellschaftliche Übermorgen gestaltet und technologisiert. Die Produktion und Rezeption dieser Artefakte verwandelt sich dabei von einer exklusiven Expertentätigkeit zu einer öffentlichen sozialen Praxis: Prototypen werden in öffentlich zugänglichen Makerspaces hergestellt und in urbanen Eventformaten zelebriert. Sascha Dickel zeigt, dass damit auch eine neue Form der Kritik einhergehen kann, die nicht gegen die Technologisierung des Sozialen opponiert, sondern Wege erschließt, in einer technologisch verbauten Welt alternative Zukünfte zu entwerfen.
