Description: This paper offers a review of the theory published on crowdsourcing tools from de point of view of the concept's adoption by researchers. Crowdsourcing is a concept that includes many of the online collaboration activities performed by crowds in response to an open call. The paper offers a perspective on the incremental amount of publications already available as an indicator of the level of such adoption, given that the adoption process in general takes time because there has to be a critical mass of ideas conformed by experts. This paper includes a review on the theoretical concepts related to crowdsourcing and technological adoption. Systematic search has been done and the obtained information is included. Finally some conclusions are delivered.

Description: The aim of this paper is to evaluate the efficiency, using data envelopment analysis, in eurobond issues fixed rate in the period 2004-2012, assessing the impact of the financial crisis in that market. Following the development of a database consisting of 1,999 Eurobonds, the results show that in the years before the crisis starts the efficient issues volume was bigger, being the inefficient ones very close to the border. From 2007, we can see a drastic change in the market conditions, detecting a departure substantial and widespread production frontier.

Description: Economists have traditionally been interest in analyzing economic growth enhancing factors. Entrepreneurship is one of factors considered by economists. However, in this analysis is also necessary to be considered how economic progress and distributive justice are affected. Usually economic growth and progress have been considered as synonymous, but following Holcombe (2007) it is possible to distinguish them since the former is related to the amount of product while economic progress is related to the quality of the product. This is important because some of the economic policy measures designed to promote economic growth can generate problems, for example, inequality. These problems could be solved, for example through a "compensation principle" to avoid that distributive justice and progress will be harmed. The aim of this article is to analyze these issues. We will begin considering the relationship between economic growth and progress in order to focus on the aspects of distributive justice and to design some economic policy measures to enhance economic growth and progress.

Description: Integrated reporting (IR) is one of the latest innovations regarding sustainability reporting and non-financial information in the world. Although some companies began IR practices in the 2000s (Eccles & Krzus, 2010), IR has only been recognized since 2010 as the best way to get a complete picture of the value of organizations, overcoming the limitations of traditional reports (Eccles & Krzus, 2010; Jensen & Berg, 2012; Abeysekera, 2013).Our research aims to analyze this innovative reporting trend. To do this, we first review some practices in the annual reports published by the pioneering companies in IR, then, we present the antecedents for the current IR framework. Finally we look into the process that the International Integrated Reporting Council has followed to develop the framework, pointing out some milestones for the widespread adoption of integrated reporting. Our findings suggest that reporting practices have been ahead both from theoretical developments and institutional efforts. However, private regulators continue to have a major influence on the theoretical definition of standards that are intended to guide IR and the development of accountability practices to stakeholders.

Description: Internal marketing orientation (IMO) can be used as a tool for managing employees' knowledge that allows companies to develop a competitive advantage to the extent that generates information, communicates it internally and facilitates to articulate a response to their needs. IMO through proper management of human capital facilitates more effective competition and a more agile response to market demands. This study analyzes the three dimensions that make up IMO and involve knowledge management with regard to gathering intelligence concerning employees' needs, the transmission of these needs and the subsequent response. Then, an empirical research has been carried out to analyze the IMO in Spanish hotels and it had led to the classification of three clearly defined groups. Moreover, the results indicate IMO as a source of competitive advantage as higher levels of job satisfaction and organizational commitment are found in the groups with higher IMO.

Description: This article reports on an online survey conducted with more than 500 Facebook users in Spain and Portugal, in order to identify which are the most important variables on the intention to use this social network to make buying decisions. The results of this study indicate that the intended use of Facebook in purchasing decisions are influenced by their perceived usefulness, social influence and attitude toward Facebook, while the perceived ease of use has no direct influence on these intention. Furthermore, perceived enjoyment could play an essential role, even higher than the perceived usefulness in determining the attitude of the individual towards Facebook as a tool for finding information about the product.

Description: The competitive environment is leading companies in every industry to reinforce their focus on innovation-related activities, and especially on knowledge exploration and exploitation. The relevance of these concepts has generated an important literature as well as appropriate measurement scales. The scales proposed by Atuahene-Gima (2005) have been commonly taken as a reference. However, these have been applied more in medium or high-tech industries than in low-tech industries. In this sense, this study aims to validate the scales to measure knowledge exploration and exploitation capabilities in a low-tech industry as the textile industry. The results show that while it is feasible to use these scales in this type of industries, they need to be adjusted to suit their specificities.

Description: The aim of this work is to describe in detail on the current situation of outsourcing of Information Systems using the results of a survey carried out in the biggest Spanish firms. This is a longitudinal study that covers 12 years, since the current results are contrasted with those of two surveys carried out previously in the same environment and by the same authors. The conclusions point to a preservation of the status quo in the configuration of the outsourcing and to a larger degree of maturity in the characteristics of the contracts.

Description: In adjustable interest loans the borrower assumes the risk of interest rate rising, which leads to the growth of loan annuities. Given the importance of this risk in both corporate and personal finance, it is a recurrent topic in economic and financial press. In this paper, we show that the duration of a loan with constant annuity and interest rate can be used to assess the sensitivity of payments of an analogous loan with adjustable interest rate. Also, we develop an empirical application on official indexes of the Spanish mortgage market during the period 2009-2013. We find that EURIBOR is the index that causes less volatility in the mortgage annuity. Likewise, we also obtain that the average rate of loans for house purchasing in the euro zone is the index that cause greater volatility in the payments of loans.

Description: This article presents a review of the studies on on boards of directors and corporate social responsibility practices in the banking industry. Several characteristics of bank boards, in particular independence and diversity, may impact their CSR commitments. By studying a sample of 159 banks in nine countries during the period 2004-2010, there is evidence that suggests that banks with more independent and diverse directors follow a path of socially responsible behaviour.

Description: The present study advances in the research about identification of entrepreneurial opportunities, by analyzing the moderating effect that social network's size and strength may have on the relationship of prior knowledge and alertness with opportunity identification. We draw on a sample made up of 199 Andalusian entrepreneurs to perform a regression analysis. The results show a negative influence of prior knowledge on the number of identified opportunities, as well as a positive moderating effect of network strength over the relationship between alertness and opportunity identification. Our work can contribute to the entrepreneurship literature, given that we integrate in a model the effects of alertness, prior knowledge and social capital on the study of the opportunity identification phase, by applying a contingent perspective based on the moderating role of certain networks' characteristics.

Description: Is human resource management in local councils useful? In the current crisis, is the expenditure in this area justified? Although investment in human resources management has been widely studied at the private enterprise, research is scarce in the area of Spanish public administration. To fill this gap, this work carried out a study on a sample of 85 Spanish municipalities of more than 20,000 inhabitants. Analysis supports the idea that actually some practices of human resources have positive effect on the results of local corporations. In fact, although there are practices that are very regulated by the public service regulations you can manage more efficiently without colliding with the law in force.

Description: This work has the aim of analyzing the influence of bank and trade debt in the duration of the process of bankruptcy in Spain. To that end, a sample of 567 firms, that fill in bankruptcy between 2004 and 2009, is used. The results show a different behavior between banks and trade creditors, considering the level of their debt and the type of bankruptcy resolution. Thus, whereas the former allow a lengthening of the process, the latter try to reduce it. In addition, those results remain in the sample of firms that liquidate, whereas in the firms that reach an agreement, only the attitude of trade creditors is relevant, who besides, have a different behavior depending on the type of resolution.

Description: In this paper we analyse the role of exploitation knowledge strategy to explain the relationship between social capital in its bonding dimension and incremental innovation dimension in the field of clusters. To do this, on a sample of 215 cultural tourism companies in World Heritage Cities of Spain, we applied a structural model that allows us to detect a significant indirect effect to bonding capital in incremental innovation through the development of a exploitation knowledge strategy. The results suggest that if firms in a cultural tourism cluster are able to leverage their strong ties and dense networks to implement exploitation knowledge strategies, tend to develop more incremental innovations.

Description: The sensitivity in the public urban transport sector, focusing on a progressive improvement in the economic and technical management of passenger services and the need to design a transparent public finance system and according to the current economic circumstances, has led to increased interest and concern to improve the knowledge of its structure and evolution. This has encouraged the emergence of the conditions for the adoption of the initiative of the institutions that have promoted the creation of the Costs and Funding of Collective Urban Transport Watchdog (TUC Watchdog). The TUC Centre's objectives focus on the study of the operating conditions and financing of surface urban public transport concessions in Spain, through the generation of representative measures of behavior patterns, in order to enhance the real knowledge of the sector. In this paper, we present a study of the current problems in the financing of urban public transport in Spain, from the work carried out for the first report of the TUC (2008-2009).

Description: Consumers are thought to be rational in their choices. But sometimes their choices comprise intransitivities. Current paper presents a mathematically supported experimental study of consumers' intransitive preferences concerning product attributes. We used a personalized experimental design developed on the basis of Q methodology to maintain subjectivity. In our experimental study we are investigating intransitivity occurring in participants' preferences during selection between simple, medium complex, and complex products. By the Q method we gain the same number of less important (middle level) attribute dimensions for all participants. The participants' task is to make pairwise comparisons of preference between specific realizations of each product group. Since conjoint analysis is based on the measurement and testing of consumer preferences, reassessment of the phenomenon may have impact on marketing research methodology. This research is to test an experimental design which-with some adjustment-could be able to measure revealed preferences in a more precise way.

Description: The aim of this paper is to determine the degree of implementation of certain work practices of reflexive production and lean production, individually and jointly, in Catalonia direct suppliers firms of OEM. We present the results of a survey, which examines various items about the degree of work autonomy and indirect labor delegation to the operator, characteristics of jobs, wage compensations, if teamwork and certain participation systems are implemented. We analyze whether there are significant differences in the median of the items by segmenting the nationality of capital, degree of implementation of JIT and teamwork. It is verified a small job redesign, as well an important individual use of some practices of lean production, more intensely on foreign capital firms. Lack greater integration in most firms, so there should be more joint implementation. It identifies a typology with seven groups of firms.

Description: Many researchers and economists have argued that competitiveness studies conducted by WEF and IMD, show limitations in small-economies, even more when they have different characteristics. The objective of this research is to study the competitiveness of three small-economies: Puerto Rico, Costa Rica and Singapore. The double-diamond model of competitiveness is useful when performing this task. With data obtain from international organizations. The findings suggest that Singapore shows a higher level of global competitiveness compared to Puerto Rico and Costa Rica. We conclude that Puerto Rico and Costa Rica have similar levels of competitiveness, because internationally Puerto Rico leads to Costa Rica on 3 determinants: factor conditions, demand conditions and related industries. On the other hand, Costa Rica is locally more competitive than Puerto Rico in 3 domestic factors: factor conditions, demand conditions and firm's strategy.

Description: In last years entrepreneurial orientation has generated an increased interest in the field of entrepreneurship. The literature review allows us to suggest the need to analyze the ambiguity and complexity of the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and firms' performance. In this work, we study this relationship from a configurational approach, addressing the consistency of relational and organizational aspects with entrepreneurial orientation. The aim of this work is to develop a configurational model to explain how the conjunction between social capital and internal capabilities can foster the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and performance. We propose three theoretical models - universal, contingent and configurational - which are defined by theoretical propositions. Also, we explore and exemplify empirically these relationships through a case study of Spanish agri-food industry. Finally, we draw a series of conclusions from the proposed models and we propose future lines of research.

Description: The introduction of telework in organizations has been used as an example of policy to improve urban mobility, through the reduction in the frequency and duration of trips between home and the workplace. However, telework does not seem to be catching on among businesses and workers, so that the intended improvements are not being achieved. Mobility in urban areas could be improved by increased interest of companies and workers to adopt this way of working, but this is necessary to clarify what is teleworking, what forms have and how they can benefit the parties involved, besides indicating weaknesses and how to minimize them. The ultimate purpose of this paper is to analyze the causes of adoption of telework and its promotion by organizations offering recommendations for proper implementation.

Description: The Observatorio de Costes y Financiación del Transporte Urbano Colectivo (Cost and Funding of Urban Transport Watchdog) and its annual reports on this industry provide an excellent platform to improve awareness of its cost structure, to enable benchmarking strategies/practices for companies, and to fund policies for an efficient public service. Alongside this, setting-up a database which includes a battery/series of comprehensive and core parameters for studying the conditions of public service provision in Spain, is a first-order information base that must be used to generate industry knowledge and develop multiple lines of research to be explored in the future. In this paper we aim to present a potential research roadmap in this area.

Description: This study analyses the social and environmental research published in Spanish journals between 2004 and 2012. The main areas of concern of the Spanish researcher are analysis of Spanish practices, external publication, attitude studies and the different theoretical frameworks. There are also encouraging changes in the methodological approaches used, placing greater importance on empirical research with the conducting of field and case studies, at the same time as analysis of different statistical relationships, from interviews and content analysis, although without the features of cooperation and interactivity typical of dynamic, and innovative knowledge production communities. There appears to be some difficulty in getting published in Spanish journals, and generating critical social and environmental research is even harder.

Description: The relationships between different types of cooperation and rivalry and product innovation are examined in this article, differentiating between new and established companies. The hypotheses proposed suggest different patterns of cooperation. For new companies, the most effective types of cooperation are those which can lower costs and reduce risks (small and medium size companies, other new companies, financial bodies and knowledge centres). On the other hand, established companies may benefit more by cooperating with other established companies. Furthermore, the relationship between intense rivalry and product innovation is stronger for established companies than for new ones. The results obtained, using a sample of 3,528 companies in geographical clusters of 32 European countries, confirm the established hypotheses in general terms. These results have interesting implications for research into entrepreneurship, cooperation and competitive dynamics.

Description: Due to the continuous growing of information exchange in the Internet, commercial web sites have started to include online tools to allow consumer interaction in them. Thus, when visiting these commercial web sites, consumers may consider not only e-retailer information (marketing communication) but also purchase and use experiences shared by other consumers (electronic word-of-mouth). This study focuses on the role of information included in a commercial web site in the improvement of the relationship with customers and the promotion of the e-retailer's products through electronic word-of-mouth. The results of the structural equations model based on commercial web sites' users suggest that marketing communication and electronic word-of-mouth positively affect the levels of affective commitment, whereas trust can only be affected by the degree of marketing communication. Finally, trust influences on commitment, and this in turn would directly affects the level of electronic positive word-of-mouth.

Description: e-Government development requires a good knowledge of both users' expectations and all the factors that may strength users' adoption of the technology. Chan et al. (2010) proposed several variables that could act as antecedents of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model's components in the context of compulsory use environments. The present research addresses the validity of such antecedents when one is dealing with a free use environment instead that with a compulsory one. The methodology is based in building up a structural equation model by means of the PLS technique. Our findings show that the expectations about the result to be obtained and the effort expectations held by the user affect significantly the intention of use of the e-Government platform. In turn, the intention of use and the facilitating conditions have an influence on actual use of the platform. Furthermore, we found that convenience, assistance, trust and avoidance of personal interaction play important roles in terms of UTAUT model's antecedents.

Description: There is unanimous acknowledgement in the literature in that information and communication technologies (ICT) can improve the effectiveness of cooperation between tour operators and help in the development of the tourism industry. However, there is no empirical research that supports the reduced uncertainty about the future structure of the sector resulting from the changes induced by ICT. The objective of this paper is to attempt to fill this gap, firstly by identifying the change criteria found in the research literature, and secondly, to apply the resulting theoretical framework using the data collected in a survey of tourism intermediaries.

In this context, we conducted an empirical study in 186 tourist accommodation businesses certified under the 'Q for Tourism Quality' in Spain, which analyzes the structure of relations among the critical factors of quality and quality results. A model based on the theory together with the hypotheses to be tested, and validated using the technique of structural equation models. The results show that companies that want to improve the quality results should be noted that the critical factors that most influence are the policy/quality planning along with leadership. The latter factor is directly and positively related to partnerships and resources, the policy/quality planning, employee management and learning.

Description: The aim of this paper is to analyze the phenomenon of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the Spanish banking sector through social responsibility reports. Based on the theories of legitimacy and Stakeholders justified the use of CSR to analyze the behavior information about its environment. As survey methodology used content analysis, in particular are analyzed and compared the information practices in relation to four pillars on which the RSC is organized: customers, community, employees and the environment. In particular, it proposes a content index of liability (IDR) that measures the quality and detail of information provided. The study concludes that the community and environment categories are the most generally reported, although nature are social institutions (savings banks and credit unions) more transparent about customers and community is concerned, on the evolution during the recent years have seen that the transparency of information does not increase, but remains stable or even decreased as in the case of the contents on customers, in addition, we find that the contents are related to the internal activity of the company remains concerned about the most institutions to address the impacts of their activities as financial intermediaries.

Description: Over the past decades, there has been in Galicia, in line with what has happened in other territories, a proliferation of industrial estates that have increased the supply of industrial land in this region. These estates are immersed in a competitive struggle to attract the largest possible number of companies. One of the factors that influence their capacity of attraction is the variety of facilities, both infrastructures and services, which make available to its customers. The intention of this paper is to analyze, through multivariate statistical techniques, if the Galician industrial estates have defined horizontal differentiation strategies that enable them to meet the specific needs of the demand, i.e., firms seeking a location for carrying out their productive activities.

Description: This article collects and analyzes the results of a research project1 that deals with possible synergies between the tourism sector and the audiovisual sector in Spain. Through the qualitative technique of in-depth interview, experts and representatives of those sectors were interviewed. The interviewees (20 in total), from Spanish, Venezuelan and Mexican nationality, belong to both the public like private sphere, being all them pioneers in the field of cooperation between the tourism and the audiovisual sectors. The objective of this research is to verify the possible use of the audiovisual sector, especially audiovisual series, such as promotional tools for tourist destinations and thus foster greater cooperation between the audiovisual and tourism. In the Spanish case there are destinations that already make use of audiovisual series as a promotional tool, and they are visited by viewers. But partnerships between producers and tourist destinations are still limited, despite the favourable results.

Description: Traditionally, literature has considered the need of the double fit, vertical and horizontal fit, of the human resource strategy in organizations. Its strategic importance has been empirically demonstrated in different studies, however, the complexity of this process demands deeper theoretical analysis, which allows us to identify those elements that make the double fit possible. In this study, drawing on the main human resource management perspectives and the 'system strength' concept proposed by Bowen and Ostroff (2004), we discuss the three main features that define this concept and its relationship with the human resource system fit. As a consequence of our analysis, we establish three theoretical propositions that explain the link between the double fit and the system strength concept.

Description: This article discusses theoretically why companies cooperate in carrying out their R&D, and doing so with several external agents. From a sample of original equipment manufacturers suppliers (OEMS) located in Catalonia, we checked if they incorporated products innovation, research, design, product development phases, and if they collaborated with external agents in doing their R&D, differentiated by property capital (domestic versus foreign) and company size. It was shown that large companies are those who performed R&D in greater proportion, however, and the smaller ones the least. A very small number of firms cooperate with the external agents considered, and they are all large companies.

Description: Micro.enterprises have certain attributes that distinguish them from large companies and from those that see problems when adopting principles and social responsibility policies. However, the principles of social responsibility can and should be integrated into any organization, including micro.enterprises. In this paper, we study how cooperation networks could be an appropriate incentive for the micro.enterprises to implement social responsibility policies, strengthening some advantages and mitigating some disadvantages that micro.enterprises may have when dealing with such policies, and enhancing, ultimately, the level of development of their relational and structural capital. In preparing the study theoretical model is proposed that analyses the components of these types of capital in the company, adapted to the micro.enterprise as well as studying the influences that social responsibility policies and membership of cooperation networks can have on these components.

A longitudinal study has been done over a time horizon of 3 years in the Spanish financial sector. Regarding the methodology, we have developed a qualitative method to measure the degree of OM of the entities considered, through a content analysis. After obtaining an indicator of this analysis, we applied a quantitative methodology of structural equation modeling for testing hypotheses of the proposed model. From the results, we highlight, first, banks that implement a MO approach are likely to maintain that approach in subsequent periods. Secondly, immediate effects of MO on results were not found. And finally, MO does not record deferred effects on the considered indicators of profitability.

Description: This paper analyzes the relationship between the migration experience and the perception of risk when starting a business. In order to empirically validate the hypotheses formulated, this research uses data from the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) in Spain during 2009. The analysis made reveals that, regardless of origin, immigrants are less likely to perceive the creation of a company as a hazardous situation. These data prompt us to reflect on explanations related to the selection process before leaving their countries of origin and how immigrants change their perception of risk after the migration process. Likewise, the results obtained raises important practical implications facing the formulation of strategies and policies to foster entrepreneurship in this group.

Description: In the past few decades a large number of studies have been carried out aimed at integrating and incorporating ethics into organizations, mainly highlighting the need to enhance ethical behavior within organizations. However, none of them makes any reference in their approach concerning the value which is generated as a consequence of organizational ethics, when not only several studies have been found supporting such statement but also a theoretical justification is found based on the perspectives of the Resource-Based View of the Firm and Dynamic Capabilities. Therefore, the authors of this study, starting from a model previously designed (Ruiz-Palomino y Ruiz-Amaya, 2011), have designed an integrating model as an attempt to link an ethical organizational culture to the business value generation by means of human resources. To be precise, attention in this paper is focused on the analysis of the direct and indirect effects that an ethical organizational culture has on the value job response of the employee. Discussion of the model, managerial implications and directions for future research are finally presented.

Description: This work focuses on developing an internal model for equity risk under Solvency II. We have used monthly data for the series of Ibex 35, Cac 40, FTSE 100 and Dax in the period between January 1992 and December 2008. This work fits by maximum likelihood method the model of normal returns, based on the standard model of QIS4, compared to the mixture of normal and a Markov regime switching model. The analyzed models are compared based on criteria of parsimony and normality of the residuals. Subsequently, we compared capital requirements resulting from applying these models against the standard formula of QIS4. The results showed that the funds needed to take the equity risk are dependent on the specification used.

Once a comprehensive theoretical review, the methodology consists of a descriptive analysis and factor analysis in order to determine the structure of these motivations in this sector. Finally, cluster firms and these groups are analyzed to establish their profile by cluster analysis. The results show that the most important motivations that drive hosting companies to implement a system of quality management are internal motivations, this study showing differences with the findings in other academic studies in industrial companies. The structure of motivation in this sector is made up of three groups: external market reasons, external demands reasons and internal reasons.

Description: The objective was given to identify which salary scales exist within micro-enterprises (SME's) of the economical sector depending on tourism, through representative sample taking, as well as determining the sector to which the SME's belong that generate greater revenue or, on the contrary, those that are largely subsidized by the government. The tax requirements for Mexican SME's are multiple. There is therefore a necessity for specific research and articles on this subject that can provide investors with elements of evaluation. The article focuses on Benito Juarez County, Quintana Roo, Mexico, home to tourist destination Cancún. The article begins with an outline of the importance of the SME's and a basis is established according to which we can consider SME's as being Mexican together with the origin of tax obligations. Furthermore a mechanism is introduced which calculates the federal tax fee on incomes, according to the main sectors a stratified sample of SME's is being determined, in accordance with the sample an estimation of revenue is made and finally the conclusions are presented. The presented information has added value as it constitutes a manual with regard to the payment of federal income tax generated in Mexico.

Description: What factors influence consumers to choose a bank with which to contract a service in a situation of information asymmetry? In this situation the firm has more information than consumers, and this fact generates consumer uncertainty due to a possible firm opportunistic behaviour. To reduce it, consumers can use, on one hand, signals that the bank sends to the market, such as reputation, and on the other hand, they can seek for more informal information, such as positive word-of-mouth communication from relatives and friends, to generate or increase trust, and through this variable, to develop an intention o contract with a specific bank and not others. Relations among those variables were tested with a sample of 155 bank users when they have not still worked with a specific bank. Results indicate the importance both of the reputation signal and of the positive information received of acquaintances and relatives to trust, but with differences according to the level of perceived ex ante uncertainty moderate those relations.

Description: Nowadays the reduction or elimination of waste has become a major environmental concern among industrialized countries and a priority for companies. In this work it is carried out a review of the postulates of the classical economic model, existing until a few dates, in connection with the variable environment and waste generated by firms. It is also examined the literature about the potential of the waste management and possible alternatives for obtaining of advantages or benefits derived from an efficient treatment of waste. This paper is completed with an empirical analysis of the waste management in companies of the Basque Autonomous Community. The motivations that drive firms to implement a waste management system and the advantages or benefits which derive from this fact are analyzed among other factors.

Description: In recent decades, regional production patterns are the subject of scientific debate by researchers. However, there is a lack of previous literature review work. This gap advises us to perform a content analysis, choosing a sufficiently large temporal area, 1998 to 2008. We have selected the main Spanish scientific journals of Economics, obtaining a database composed by 98 contributions, in which we have studied the evolution of its scientific nature, research groups and/or universities, the research agenda and methodology. This will allow us to know the level of development of these areas and propose future research lines.

Description: The aim of this paper is to contribute to the strategic management literature by identifying the possible combinations among three organizational capabilities (market orientation, knowledge processes and customer relationship management). We also analyze the possible interaction among them to give the creation of superior customer value as a result. Our research question is if the customer requires a superior value, how the firm has to combine the extant capabilities to offer them this superior value? We advance that the interaction among the three proposed capabilities constitutes a capability.
