    Description: The book is an adaptation of an investigation presented to the Universidad Andina Néstor Cáceres Velásquez that sought to analyze the formative expectations that motivate interest in learning English, comparing the different professional schools of the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano Puno. The study was cross-sectional-descriptive, considering all the students of the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano (18,941) as the population, applying a probabilistic sampling, obtaining a sample of 377 students from the different professional schools who have taken English courses. inside or outside the university. An adapted intrinsic and extrinsic motivation questionnaire of 15 items was elaborated, for the variable, the formative expectations of motivation of interest. After the hypothesis test, it was concluded that the training expectations that motivate interest in learning English, compared between the different professional schools, are regular.

    Description: El libro es una adaptación de una investigación presentada a la Universidad Andina Néstor Cáceres Velásquez que buscó analizar las expectativas formativas que motivan el interés en el aprendizaje de inglés, comparando entre las diferentes escuelas profesionales de la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano Puno. El estudio fue de tipo transversal-descriptivo, considerando como población a todos los estudiantes de la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano (18941), aplicando un muestreo probabilístico, obteniendo una muestra de 377 estudiantes de la de las diferentes escuelas profesionales que hayan cursado cursos de inglés dentro o fuera de la universidad. Se elaboró un cuestionario adaptado de motivación intrínseca y extrínseca de 15 ítems, para la variable, las expectativas formativas de motivación del interés. Luego de la prueba de hipótesis, se concluyó que las expectativas formativas que motivan el interés en el aprendizaje de inglés, comparando entre las diferentes escuelas profesionales son regulares.

    Description: This book is an adaptation of a research presented to Altiplano National University that sought to determine the degree of relationship between variables: virtual platforms and the learning of the English language in university students, considering the importance of learning the English language with the use of virtual platforms in the current virtualized context due to covid-19. Methodologically, the research is of a quantitative approach, of a non-experimental type, descriptive correlational design and with transversal temporality, whose sample is not probabilistic for convenience, made up of 30 students who were given a questionnaire and an exam, the first about the use of the virtual platforms and the following exam to evaluate the four skills of the English language. The results achieved were: The use of virtual platforms has a significant weak positive connection in the development of listening comprehension in students. Likewise, a positive confirmation of significant media in the development of reading comprehension, written expression and oral expression in students. Finally, it has been determined that the use of virtual platforms has a significant average positive connection in the learning of the English language in university students of Tourism.

    Description: Este libro es una adaptación de una investigación presentada a la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano que buscó determinar el grado de relación entre las variables: plataformas virtuales y el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en estudiantes universitarios, considerando la importancia del aprendizaje del idioma inglés con el uso de las plataformas virtuales en el contexto actual virtualizado debido a la covid-19. Metodológicamente, la investigación es de enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental, diseño correlacional descriptivo y con temporalidad transversal, cuya muestra es no probabilística por conveniencia conformada por 30 estudiantes a quienes se le aplicó un cuestionario y un examen, el primero acerca del uso de las plataformas virtuales y el siguiente un examen para evaluar las cuatro habilidades del idioma inglés. Los resultados alcanzados fueron: El uso de las plataformas virtuales tiene una correlación positiva débil significativa en el desarrollo de la comprensión auditiva en los estudiantes. Asimismo, una correlación positiva media significativa en el desarrollo de la comprensión de lectura, expresión escrita y expresión oral en los estudiantes. Finalmente se ha determinado que el uso de las plataformas virtuales tiene una correlación positiva media significativa en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés en los estudiantes universitarios de Turismo.

    Description: The book is an adaptation of an investigation presented to the Universidad Nacional del Altiplano, whose objective was to investigate the impact of effective communication as a didactic method in the development of linguistic skills in English as a third language in students of the School of Professional Technical Higher Education. of the National Police of Peru, Branch Puno (EESTP - PNP - Puno); in order to address the difficulty in learning the English language for Andean students who have Quechua or Aymara as their first language, Spanish as a second language and, due to the addition of current proficiency requirements, English as a third language, focusing on language as a communicative competence that actively assimilates, models and elaborates a base in relation to the current world. For this, we work with two groups of students from the second cycle of studies of the EESTP – PNP – Puno: a control group and an experimental group. The control group consisted of thirty (30) students and the experimental group with twenty-eight (28) students. Initially, both groups took an entrance test; and immediately, only to the experimental group, during the sessions of the English course, effective communication was applied as a didactic strategy to develop the linguistic competences of the English language. After one academic semester, an exit test is taken for both groups. And from a comparison it is concluded that effective communication impacts the linguistic skills of English as a third language in andean students by 91.67%, which is considered within the outstanding achievement.

    Description: El libro es una adaptación de una investigación presentada a la Universidad Nacional del Altiplano, cuyo objetivo fue investigar el impacto de la comunicación efectiva como método didáctico en el desarrollo de habilidades lingüísticas en inglés como tercera lengua en estudiantes de la Escuela de Educación Superior Técnico Profesional de la Policías Nacional del Perú, Filial Puno (EESTP - PNP - Puno); con el fin de abordar la dificultad en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés para los estudiantes andinos que tienen el quechua o el aimara como lengua materna, el español como segunda lengua y, debido a la adición de los actuales requisitos de competencia, el inglés como tercera lengua, centrándose en la lengua como competencia comunicativa que asimila, modela y elabora una base en relación con el mundo actual de forma activa. Para ello, trabajamos con dos grupos de alumnos del segundo ciclo de estudios de la EESTP – PNP – Puno: un grupo de control y un grupo experimental. El grupo de control estuvo conformado por treinta (30) alumnos y el grupo experimental con veintiocho (28) alumnos. Inicialmente, a ambos grupos se les tomó una prueba de entrada; y en seguida, solo al grupo experimental, durante las sesiones del curso de inglés, se le aplicó, la comunicación efectiva como estrategia didáctica para desarrollar las competencias lingüísticas del idioma inglés. Luego de un semestre académico, se toma una prueba de salida a ambos grupos. Y a partir de una comparación se concluye que, la comunicación efectiva impacta las habilidades lingüísticas del inglés como tercera lengua en los estudiantes andinos en un 91.67%, lo cual se considera dentro del logro destacado.

It furthers our understanding of whether and to what extent the varying practices of digital interaction can be considered adaptations of the basic organisations and resources of co-present face-to-face interaction. The chapters explore the emerging practices in contemporary digital interaction and in interaction related to digital technologies.
