Notizen:
Abstract Gravimetric procedures of analysis are restricted to the micromole and millimole range. In spite of their great time-wasting, these methods are still important today for the determination of major and minor constituents, if reliable results with a very good reproducibility are concerned. The way of standardization for gravimetric procedures is described in detail, giving the determination of tungsten by 8-hydroxychinolate in the micromol 3-range as an example. The use of the characteristic data found for check methods is demonstrated for scheelite samples.
