Zusammenfassung Beschrieben wird die PMR-spektroskopische Bestimmung des Isomerenverhältnisses in Glycerinformal, einem pharmazeutischen Produkt. Zur Auflösung der Signale wurde das Verschiebungsreagens Eu(fod)3 1 verwendet. Das Isomerenverhältnis betrug 57% 1,3-Dioxan-5-ol zu 43% 1,3-Dioxolan-4-methanol. Die Konformation von 1,3-Dioxan-5-ol wurde bestimmt und die des Benzoesäureesters von 1,3-Dioxan-5-ol diskutiert.

Abstract A report is given on the PME-spectroscopic determination of the proportion of isomers in “glycerinformal” which is a pharmaceutical product. For resolution of the PMR signals the shift reagent Eu(fod)3 1 was used. “Glycerinformal” consists of 57% 1,3-dioxan-5-ol and 43% 1,3-dioxolan-4-methanol. The conformation of 1,3-dioxan-5-ol was determined and that of the benzoate of 1,3-dioxan-5-ol discussed.
